Good news, I might have been a bit off in my score prediction though.

I'm at loathe to give these guys any excuses. However there has been a huge turnover in personnel. That said they better get used to their new teammates/systems pretty quick.

However, many of us thought the coach sucked long before that. I mean the guy has had enough chances, so it's time to fire him I think.

The problem is, you need a replacement coach. Not just a replacement coach but one to get them to the playoffs this season and beyond. If not, you're fired too. I guess if they stay close to a playoff spot they can drag on the inevitable for awhile longer but it becomes more dangerous.

At the end of the day, I don't think we have enough horses in the stable.

It's crazy with that roster but good on them. More to it there than Sutter but they have bought in to a system where our players just tune Green out lol

If the Canucks aren't in a better position come U.S. Thanksgiving they need to start trading some asses out of town, starting with J.T. Miller, and then perhaps Bo Horvat to Ottawa for a first round pick or...they have two 2nd's and three 3rd's.

Quinn Hughes is +6 leading the team and he's also tied for third in team scoring so he looks to have rebounded, Pettersson was bound to struggle missing most of camp, that just seems to be 'the norm" when guys miss camp.

Stick with the core group of guys and get some better management and coaching in place Francesco!!

I think if they're sucking you fire Green/staff at Thanksgiving (or sooner if god is merciful) and see what a new (or in-house like Cull or Shaw) coach can do for the rest of the season. If at TDL they're still super far out you shop JTM and whoever else on expiring contracts.

Petey needs to get his ass in gear though. For all the talk of wanting to play for a contending team he's sure not holding up his end of that relationship.

Exactly. Show it on the ice. I get he was probably frustrated with the negotiations but to say that stuff was well kind of classless. A bargaining tactic by Petey and his agent probably to speed up the contract process but still a chicken-sh!t move on his part.
