You should focus on getting back into shape, you fat f*ck.
- VanHockeyGuy
I'm in excellent shape, lost 15 lbs since moving down south full-time and now my wife wants to stay as we sold our house down here, it was too big, and purchased a nice 1900 sq ft townhouse which is much easier to take care of and maintain. Plus we found suitable health insurance for her. |

No kidding. Then he wonders why he can barely keep up in an Arizona men's league. |

He lied & young mans life is ruined. More to life than just hockey for a coach. He’s a neanderthal & is accountable as much as anybody is. |

Funny. Name one person who doesn’t or wouldn’t lie to protect themselves. Not many out there who wouldn’t or haven’t. I think the court of public opinion is much tougher than the actual code of law.
Morally speaking, JQ should have done something when he became aware. But by no means should he be the only one who is held accountable. I’m much more critical of the PA than any coach, manager, or owner in that situation. Like any union or association, your sole purpose is to protect and serve your members. Hell, I think the team’s captain should be held to just as high standards as the coach.
But as a society we need and demand scapegoats. |

I sound eerily like Babcock on certain things in my life. Playing ball & then onto coaching that was me. Practice like you play. Details was everything.
In RL I’m similar but add some chaos lol |

I can’t believe Chevy got off! Assuming it was handled is not an excuse.
I know Kyle, he went to school with my kids. Nobody deserves that. |

All true other than after the cup was won he did nothing. Conspiracy isn’t tolerable & those who don’t rock the boat in the name of what is right are the lowest of the low. Selfish self serving gutless sob’s. The world needs leaders not ppl like him or Sarver etc. |

Hopefully you weren't helping them with their English homework. 🙂
But yeah. The worst thing about this whole thing is the conspiracy of silence. It unnecessarily created more victims. |

I just finished the required San'yas Indigenous Cultural Safety program through work. Quite the eye-opener in regards to society’s approach and reaction to racism and/or bias behaviour. It’s all good to have a self-righteous opinion and criticize those who don’t react appropriately but many of us do nothing about correcting it when faced with the same situation.
JQ did not assault Kyle Beach but is paying the price for inaction. When does one pay that debt owed? |

Good article. I'll take him to replace Green. - Marwood
In theory I’ll agree but my only question is do kids get some slack in game so they can learn from mistakes & not lose confidence?
I like a coach who is very demanding but will also coach kids to allow them to realize their potential. Coaches who lean on vets all the time need to make judgement calls that lets them play through mistakes or tough times.
It’s very important that players know what is expected of them but also if smart enough & dedicated they can feel confident & not on pins & needles every mistake is punished. They cannot play scared or looking over their shoulder. Players are different & a coach treats them differently to squeeze out the best from them. Not saying any player gets special treatment but coaching is as much about ppl skills as much as it is about team. |
