Just listening to the post game. Apparently during the time out, King was drawing up a play and Petey left the huddle before King was finished and Miller seemed to be in disagreement with King.

They are definitely not buying into Kings special teams. Rejecting him by the sounds of it.

By the way... Canucks were the better team 5 on 5 again. Murdered by special teams. Last pp goal was Oct 26th.

I remember your comments quite well.

He can't take faceoffs and he is always picking himself off the ice.
I guess they just need some more maturing time, and some of us just aren't being patient.

I wonder how the players feel taking special teams directions from a guy like King who wasn't great in the pros and is a rookie coach in the NHL. Must be pretty annoying, especially with how much they're sucking

I wonder how the players feel taking special teams directions from a guy like King who wasn't great in the pros and is a rookie coach in the NHL. Must be pretty annoying, especially with how much they're sucking

Considering the last guy had a ton of experience and the PP was stale and old and built for the Sedins who could cycle the puck for days without stopping... I think it shouldn't really matter and a new voice with new ideas would be a good thing. Especially since most of the players on the team aren't that good with cycling the puck around and the drop pass is the worst way to try and break out and into the offensive zone (or shooting the puck in around the boards hoping someone can retrieve it)

I checked the standings this morning 4 of the 7 Canadian teams are doing good. I really thought Vancouver would have been the 5th.
How long do they stay patient? There’s got to be some turmoil in the locker room. Does Benning have the balls to send the misfit packing?
