Saw what was left of them on their "Final Orders" tour a couple of years ago.
Of course, I've just seen that the will have a final "final" tour in 2022. Good stuff.
Oh, and Backes turned into Seabrook's shoulder. Watch it again. |

Aren’t you a pos for bringing up the injury of a decent hard nosed player. No true fan wants that so I guess you are not a true hockey fan you (frank)ing poopbag
At least I brought up a pos scumbag individual who assaulted and robbed a cabbie while drunk and raped a woman
You bring up a dirty hit on a vulnerable player. Good job - BluesDroogie
Every time Toews came back from a concussion that Backass wiener suckered him in the head. Every time and he got away with it. He had the Seabrook hit coming for a while.
And geez Droogie, WTF. You boys down there used to be pretty decent. What happened? And what happened to Millen? I thought he did a good job. |

Cool! Yeah 2020 and 2021 were rough on UFO. Might have the years wrong but Way, Raymond and Chapman all passed fairly recently and in their 60's. Maybe not Pete but Chapman was like 69.
That was my first concert. Saw them at the Int'l Amphitheater. |

Not necessarily a long rebuild.
A bug key is when Dach and Mitchrll are better. The low point is now or maybe this season.
The team needs a simple enough system and players held accountable. A skew if Rickfird players really could mean a lot. Some Rickfird players woukd or could be role players. Shaw like? Just one example. I want Slavin, Barret, Altybarmaken, the Notre Dame kid to play. R Johnson is a depth guy.
DeHahn, Gus, Murohy gone.
Here is an idea: Kubalik + a prospect or something else FOR a center roughly the age and skill level of Kubalik.
We cannot count on smelling like a rose should you be praying to retain the #1 '22 at second overall.
Jake Wise could join up too
I do not believe that Rockford played Cilliton's system - jhawk59 hawks need to trade towes and Kane but they hold all the cards. Move dach to wing and just except it lessen the responsibility for now. Play Borgstrom between dcat and Kane dach towes kubalik Hagel strome Kurashev
Carpenter / Kara entenwhistle Hardman.
Play a simple zone defensive system and collapse and protect the slot and goal.

There is talent here. Not Cup-competitive talent by any means, but play-off competitive.
If (IF) Jones is the #1 defenseman that Bowman thought he is (and I think so too), if McCabe can return to being the defenseman he was before his injury, if Murphy and deHaan (if they’re still here) can be the quality 3/4 defensemen they have been in the pass, if Mitchell develops, if Kalynuk turns his promise into potential into actual….That could be a pretty good defensive unit.
Soderholm, Commesso, Lankinen - is there a NHL-quality #1 and #2 in there?
Dach, Reichel - top 2 centers of the future? Not yet, but maybe. Kurashev as 3C? Top-six wings are a problem - after Kane and AdB, a bunch of maybes. But perhaps a new GM can fix that.
I don’t think there’s anyone I mentioned that you wouldn’t move for the right price (probably excepting AdB), but they still could be productive here.
Colliton certainly slowed things down. I don’t think that Bowman was on the wrong track with his moves last summer, Hopefully, a new regime can develop this into a team. - StLBravesFan
Imo not sold on Kurashev and know dach was drafted to be number 1 center but envision him as a winger. |

The problems and solutions are hard to assess from my armchair here. The question remains as to whether these guys like being in the same locker room together. And it remains to be seen how a proven NHL coach would set up the current roster. |

Is there anywhere in North America a female coach, who has the brains, nads, and desire to serve as an assistant with an NHL franchise? Talk about a change in public perception! After the dark incident, and lousy team performance thus far, could this potentially change a dynamic in terms of personnel interaction? And, no, I haven't been drinking. Nor am I suggestion we do it. Just wondering out loud. |

Like king is going to do much better don't the hog play the same defensive system? - Scott1977
Yea let's just see how it goes. Maybe he only ran it because the org ran it. |

Well i think it's to be expected since they have an interim gm. I hope he doesn't believe in whatever this was and has something else in mind. |

Don't want them to trade anyone yet
But I'd like to see
Hagel Toews Kubs
Cat Dach Kane
Don't care
Don't care
No Gusto or very limited minutes and matchups
The dman activating only when we have possession and there is some kind of awareness from both the dman and the forward
Not just because i felt like it
Especially No dmen running around in circles in our own end. |

We appreciate Derek’s willingness to step in behind the bench as we embark on our search for our next permanent head coach. His NHL experience as a player and work with our younger players in Rockford over the last four years gives us great confidence in his ability to lead the Chicago Blackhawks in this interim role.”
I guess this isn't over yet |

If memory serves, Colliton was never listed as "interim". I think he was announced head coach when he was brought in (with contract in hand).
Either way, if you read the release, King is very clearly listed as interim and his comments, as well as the Hawks', clearly state this:
"We appreciate Derek's willingness to step behind the bench as we embark on our search for the next permanent head coach".
"I understand my role and position and ready to do the work necessary to help this organization succeed."
We should probably simmer down on getting too fired up about king one way or the other. |
