Excellent, not about the back tightening up but taking the muscle relaxer - BetweenTheDots
Oh hey, thanks there buddy. I've never had it hit me this hard before, so I'm happy I have them.
Now that everyone's literal favorite whipping boy has been given the can, and Stan is gone, I have two questions:
1) Do we have (and should there be) any expectations for this team the rest of the year?
2) Who will be the biggest magnet for hatred as this season goes on (Toews, Dach, Jones, Carpenter ) |

Right to the NHL as a coach because.....they're a woman? - PatShart
Assistant coach with extensive knowledge of the game? I'd like to think there are plenty of them out there. They are able to pick up things, and intuitively deduct, through an entirely different lens/filter. Any honest man on this board knows precisely what I'm talking about. How these skills are or are not translatable to professional men's hockey is a question mark, only because they have not been entertained. The older I get, the more I am thoroughly lmpressed with some womens' capabilities and hidden strengths.

Have wondered if having Kendall Coyne-Schofield working in Rockford was a start to that for the Hawks. See how she does on the player development front (when she's not practicing for the Olympics or hosting youth hockey camps) and then promote if/when the time is right.

Btw your response to my response is a little late since i posted what they said about King that he's the interim coach for now - BetweenTheDots
Ha! Yeah, that's gonna happen for a little while. I've been told not to take these things with scotch, but that's just a recommendation. |

I'm 6'1, 220 and could squash you...what's your point? YOU show up a troll a hated rival, and I travel to STL for work...so I get it, but you don't expect crap back?
Take the high road and enjoy your success. - SteveRain
Fun is fun good for all the talk and banter. You speak against my dead friend, then I have a problem. Nothing more nothing less. I live in south city 5 minutes from the arch. Want my address? I’ll put you to sleep forever |

No problem with that at all if she's the right person they are looking for. Might end up being a bust, but who can know at this point? Funnier things have happened on the way to the forum.

Better than that. Come to STL for the next Blues/Hawks game. I’ll be in section 311 row q. You’ll know me when you see me
Hell I’ll buy your damn ticket |

Hahaha, here I'm enjoying a Clark and Sheffield Merlot, got to admit one of me favorite wines, don't know if you can get them out there but I'm thinking it doesn't matter much with all the vineyards there.
I'm a defense first guy so it'll always be the guys on the wrong side of the puck
I just want them to be more competitive, those are my expectations |

It was bound to happen. After the success of the past decade I expected lean times so I’m not overly upset by the slow start and probable rough season ahead. Firing Colliton is the easy move. Now that he’s gone we will see where the real issue lies. I’m afraid the rebuild is going to take quite a while. When two of the team’s best players still include two guys who’s best years should be behind them, it tells me the whole story. Fans had better buckle up because the next few years aren’t going to be fun. Let’s see what King can do. I expect if he can get the team playing marginally better the interim tag will change to head coach.

I know she made me smile countless times.

She was definitely different. Still a damn good friend taken away too damn young and left behind a kid.

Hey, hey , hey. We don't need the hostility (or the empty threats for that matter). No one on this board is coming to see you and no one is getting in a fight. I'm sure you are tough as nails (as is anyone else behind a keyboard). The Blues are good now and the Hawks suck. Can't we just leave it at that, or do we need more of this nonsense?

4 zip Florida over Carolina. Still in the 1st.i - boilermaker100
Three goals on powerppay. Only two penalties on Carolina. The Hurricane:
Lot of size, very deep scoring talent
Evolving situation in net. Bob contract ciukd nit be given away. He is descent but nit what he once was? S Knight the real deal in goal
I remain skeptical their blueline. If Ekblad is healthy all season, Ekblad with Gudas, Forsling. Montour consist top four. Wager is supposed to be good? Connaughton is big and tough with a good snapshot & perhaps passable as an NGK dman after several years as a professional?
So expect Forsling, Montour, Weager and Gudas to be solid? I think it is their depth and quality plus the way forwards make them good. Rinehart and Lundell solid add this season. Better off had insofar as team success had Q remained coach? |

I would recommend lowering them.
Never had (or have seen) the Clark&Sheffield. I'll try to find it the next time I'm in Chicago. |

We need more. We need all the keyboard warriors threatening the other keyboard warriors. I’m always surprised at how many keyboard warriors are 6’5” and 230 lbs of lean chiseled muscle. |

Is there an actual Blackhawk tribe still in existence? Check out their applicants first. Sorry for overlooking the Divine Protocols initially. For one brief moment, I thought we were free again.

Long suspected, never confirmed (from The Athletic)
Before Colliton’s second season, Bowman made some of his most perplexing moves, trading away Henri Jokiharju for Alex Nylander (then, according to sources, basically insisting that Colliton give Nylander extensive top-six minutes to justify the much-questioned trade)

That is because Colliton wanted to play Carpenter top 6. |

I wonder who else green-lighted the Nylander acquisition. Surely, Stan wouldn't have been allowed to make a unilateral decision like that, without other affirming voices within the organization. Or, was this a solo flight? If so, I'm doubly glad he's gone.

Cool! Yeah 2020 and 2021 were rough on UFO. Might have the years wrong but Way, Raymond and Chapman all passed fairly recently and in their 60's. Maybe not Pete but Chapman was like 69.
