Well enough of this cheesy topic, back to nightshift tomorrow.
Hopefully Canucks continue playing like last game.

Go Canucks Go.

Forsling 177 NHL games 53 points

Hughes 140 NHL games played 107 points.

Might have been a good pairing here lol

I think he would have been a good partner for Myers.

OEL and Myers have been good so far this season though.

Shaw showing his worth. The team 5v5 defence has been MUCH improved this season.

I think Benning being "promoted" to President and CEO and CFO and Master of Scouting would be a good move for this organization. That way he can't get in his own way after he drafts players, and he'll have more players to draft as the other GM wouldn't (hopefully) be throwing away picks

Quite possibly the answer.

Another scenario is where he resigns and someone else comes in.

Mainly so someone else can fire Green since JB won't.

I think Halak only needs to play 10 to earn his bonus.

Rangers are 31st with 25.7 shots a game and tied for last with a -79 shot differential. People can use the "it's early" excuse but it's clear that any team finds it easy to dominate the puck. Last time they averaged under 28.5 shots a game was in 1998-99

Rangers last season had a .536 win percentage but had a plus goal differential of +21

This year (so far) .654 but a -4 goal differential.

A norris trophy winner and a lot of up and coming players. Changed GM's and coaches.

They beat Florida last night 4-3 and the Corsi was 91! to 37 for Florida. Shots 45-18

$1.25 million games played bonus (10 games), $250k bonus for .905+ SV%

2GP 2.06GAA 0.917SV%

You sir are correct.

Damn that bonus going to have to come from somewhere otherwise team is going to face a penalty for next season.

Well clearly that's the cleaner option

But just like JB not firing Green, Aqua doesn't seem to want to fire Benning Hence the "promotion"

Are you kidding me? I would hazard a guess that Jim Benning can barely balance his check book let alone be the President and CEO of a near billion dollar business. Perhaps of the hockey operations but not of Canucks Sports & Entertainment. That requires someone to actually know how to run a business.

I meant President- and CEO- and CFO- and Master-of-Scouting: he'd just run the scouting department with a fancy new nameplate, and they'd get a competent GM and Pres for the Canucks (hence "promotion" in quotes, have to sell him on that demotion).

Terrible idea. Benning would just appoint Weisbrod as GM and things will get worse.

Who's going to win tonight? Ana has won 4 straight.

LA beats the Leafs last night for their 5th straight win.

When the hell is the last time the Canucks strung together a 3 game winning streak even.....

Less about hurting his feelings than it is about Aqua's ego. But yes, just like his hair dye, things do get too dark for Benning sometimes

Edit: oops, four games between 2021/03/13 .. 2021/03/19
