No need. I come and go as I please. Don't want people to change. Except JRR, he needs to work on his kegels. Like riding riding a scooter through the Lincoln Tunnel

I'll say this: There's alot of things to be excited about so far this year. We've avoided the hole that's plagued us the past couple years.

I think the negative people though are worried that it's smoke in mirrors. This sort of has a 01-02 season vibe too it, where we were in first but there were glaring issues at the forefront. If the coach can fix these issues or at least make them not as glaring, then we should be OK. Otherwise, it will all fall back to earth.

Oh i have no problem with negative, there is plenty there to talk about. I just never seen the blog be consistently negative. Thats cool, I just prefer to be a happy person.

we prefer to be called "people of reason and sophistication". but yes, that is an accurate enough description.

I am excited that Igor looks like he's a generational talent. I am excited that Fox is somehow even better than last year. I am happy that we have given ourselves runway (not too much given the division we are in) to fix the gaping holes in our game. That's really it.

Igor is on another level. I hope it continues.

Fox is looking like a generational talent himself. I really think him at forward is a super novel idea and it could work. Kind of like Fedorov playing D.

Igor is amazing. Thing that makes him better than Hank is he can play the puck. Hank was a nightmare outside the crease.

Fox is just incredible. He makes everything look so easy

Shestyorkin is also so good on breakaways. He just never blinks first.

I only mentioned Igor as a generational talent because it is already a known that Fox is one.

Fair, but I think he needs a little more time to cement that status.

They're definitely having a hard time flipping that switch. But the more they get into that situation the better they are going to get at it.
- JRR1285

TJ has a point though. For 2/3 of most games, we’re the better team, often going up by multiple goals. The team has one of the best records in the league for crying out loud.

The 1/3 of a game where they’re not playing well shouldn’t be what dictates the narrative of the entire season. They definitely need to figure it out and play a complete game, no doubt, but the positive plays are too often ignored.

How about some credit where credit is due rather than doom and gloom all the time. Kreider is having a fantastic year, Igor has been lights out, Fox is back to his Norris ways. The young guys are all making strides, albeit in an inconsistent fashion, but that’s to be expected as a young player in the NHL.

All we need now is Zib and Panarin to get going. Whats funny is both Zib and Panarin are just about a ppg yet they both are not playing very well.

Because humans are so inherently tribal that it is not enough that we are all members of the Ranger's tribe, we must bifurcate ourselves further into types of Rangers fans. We have ones who are relentlessly positive and ones who are correct (and brukie)
