Watching the post game presser and Gallant jokingly talks about putting Miller on LW.
- JRR1285

Almost said that last night. Someone else mentioned Fox at C, Miller could be a power forward. Preferably RW, problems solved.

And then they brought that up to Miller. He's like, "Nah, I'm good."

Nice!! I bet that was a cool atmosphere.
I'm still hoping with fingers crossed that my buddy's daughter will be in the Canadian net in a couple years!!

Oh yeah it was really great!! My daughter played a game before, lost, But it was a great game. The teams are so evenly matched. Incredible. Lots of hitting or I should say body contact. Insane.

Wait a minute. Your daughter played before the Canada/US game? Or, she played FOR the US before?

Brooks has a new article about Rangers trade targets but I can't read it, behind a paywall. Anyone able to give us a synopsis?

Today, Larry Brooks noted St. Louis Blues forward, David Perron as a winger of interest.

The 33-year-old is operating on the Blues’ first line and has recorded six goals in his first nine games. If St. Louis is going for it, then chances are Perron will not be available. But GM Doug Armstrong is another one not necessarily tethered to orthodoxy, so it could be possible, and certainly so if the Cup does not appear a reasonable objective.

Super exciting stuff

This is why i think GG is a big part of the problem. Is his style meant for an overachieving, scrappy team with not much in the way of elite playmakers? I still have no idea what the team's identity is SUPPOSED to be with him at the helm but maybe that's where he's been successful (beginning of his FLA and VGK tenures)? All i know is i watch and for long stretches i see almost nothing generated from our offense. Even in our "rebuild" phase our offense was our strength.

His identity is to win and they’re doing just that.
