For over a decade we heard that same thing about having Hank...at the same time we also heard that Hank was overrated.

I was at the game last night but was not watching like I normally would. My daughter's 10U team played at the first intermission and I was one the coaches so I just tied skates for the first period.

Got to my seats for the second period and was happy with what I saw with a lot of the Florida offense coming on shots from distance. Even the start of the 3rd, sans the goal, was even in my view. At about the 15 minute mark things started to turn. Not ugly but just lazy. There were times I think Panarin was trying to get the puck to Kakko to try and get him going. Still shots were coming from the outside. Their second goal set them ablaze and the Rangers got ugly and were lucky to hold on but in the end they did.

I hate Trouba on at the end of games. His lack of footspeed hampers him and hurts the team when a team is really pushing with high pressure. You need speed to get the the puck in order to have time to move it. Trouba is just an overpriced Staal to me.

Glad we’re all on the same page finally.

Even with the shot difference I was really happy with their play for 50 minutes. Almost one of those games where if they lost 3-2 but played that way against the top team in the league I could live with it. Odd being annoyed after a win but they need to learn to close out games.

Also just saw Panarin is 5th in the league in helpers. Imagine when he actually starts playing like the Panarin we’re used to seeing?

This game should’ve been 5-2. The goalie interference on strome was a bad callz gallant should’ve challenged the first panthers goal. First 50 wasn’t bad but the last 10 was abysmal. Gotta clean it up

I'm actually happy we have a coach that demands perfection. I could see how it could be wearing, but nice that he isn't happy just with a win

Tough call to challenge their first goal. It was real close and if it goes against him you risk the penalty. I can only assume he liked what he saw up to that point and had faith his players would pull it out. He wasn't wrong. The first part of the 3rd was fairly even.

i dont think they got a shot until 10+ minutes went by in the 3rd, the kakko chance knight made a nice save on - but other than the goal 10 seconds they were doing ok, a lot of the shots between the 1st and 2nd goals werent high quality other than the stupid 2on1 panarin caused.

really wish they would have closed it out in cleaner fashion. so many lazy plays - especially zib on the 3rd goal

I disagree with you there, the ice was tilted, that was a great performance by Fla, they just kept coming and coming, once again, if it wasnt for Igor, its a different game, but thats why you have a goalie back there.

I wasnt happy with the bumps Fla was getting in on Shesty, no retaliation the other way, where is this tougher team to play against??

They were winning 4-0 (probably should’ve been 5-0) vs the best team in the league, yet this place still nit picks every single (frank)ing thing. Every giveaway. Every coach decision. Surprised the stick boys haven’t been called out yet..Unbelievable

They flew in to NY from Alberta landed at 630 am Sunday. They probably ran out of gas, but still pulled out another win.
