I just hope they can get a decent draft pick this year. The season is already over. My, oh my.

Granato is a hockey coach, and a pretty good one at that, but he's no miracle worker.

This has to be one of the weakest rosters iced by an NHL team since the early days of expansion.

There aren't many more wins for the Sabres on the schedule.

Hard to develop and teach when you are always rebuilding, losing takes its toll and does not help these players grow. It's gotta stop, Cozens and Dahlin are lost and when Okposo and Girgensons are your " Go to guys", we are in big trouble, they both suck. We should grab a NHL goalie that can at least try and keep us in games, our defense is horrible and the talent is worse.

When did I say Tom Wilson lite ?

I said they are both big power forwards.

But since we are on the topic, Tuch through his career has 0.54 PPG, Wilson has 0.39 PPG. Tuch has much better analytics and microstats too.

If anything Wilson may be an Alex Tuch lite, however we'll see how Tuch does coming off of the shoulder injury

I said he's a more hard nosed Reinhart. He has close to the same offensive accumen but he's definitely more physical. Plus any chance to compare a player to Reinhart, Imma take it.

I don't believe that, they are dealing with injuries and they don't have the depth and talent to get through that.

As it has been said by several people, their schedule was very easy to start this season.

They just do not have the talent to win a lot of games. Take out Mitts and Olofsson and you're even less talented. Lose your 40 year old starting goaltender that is playing very well and it is even worse.

I will say this team didn't roll over and quit even after giving up that late power play goal. Had Skinner stuffed that in its 5-4 with 45 seconds left.

They showed heart. Can't complain really.
