Ullmark wanted out and is basically Marty Biron... Good backup, average at best starter.
There have been plenty of goalies we could of went for but dropped the ball...
Anderson would of been a great pick up 5-6 years ago, - hehateme
Pretty sure he would have signed back here... He never stated he wanted out.

Ps Boss I'm still laughing about the "Gingersons" moniker
That was top-flight work - Hank Balling
Thank you
Somebody will hate it . ☝️
I really appreciate the blogs baller. I think I like the pre- game blog vs. After game. Not criticizing...
Feels like more of an upbeat hope of the next game vs. A terrible loss.
There's gonna be some terrible losses.
Injuries really hurt our momentum.
Goaloffson absence hopefully leads to an extention.
At a nice reasonable contract.
Any ideas?

Well, when you add up all the layoffs, cry poor, suck ass and demand that your lifestyle is more important than your employees well being, yeah, (frank) off with your stupid (frank)ing yacht.

hmmm...i remember those mid-70's teams and even without taro tsujimoto in the fold they were pretty good and were built by hall of famer punch imlach...
that said, you're not all that wrong...the scotty bowman era was a bust, lafontaine/mogilny could only go so far, the hardest working team in hockey feat. the dominator fell just short, the ferrari sabres were the talk of the nhl town but just didn't have enough, the core was mediocre, and the tank was an epic fail...
although this sabres fan of over 50 years has a bunch of rocks in his halloween bag, i'll still watch them, albeit with a lowered blood pressure - Michael Pachla
I seriously THANK YOU for acknowledging this. You are also very correct. In the beginning (the early 70's) it was not this way. I do SMH at the cheerleaders who post here. I think you sir, call "balls and strikes". Just looking for more of that. Thank You, Sir. |

Imagine being mad at a player for wanting to have a say in what surgery he gets to fix a serious issue. - ImThatGuy
Here's the thing: he absolutely should have final say with respect to his body, however, that's not the world he lives in. Both sides did what they felt they had to do. I find it hard to blame management for not wanting their franchise player to be a glorified guinea pig.
As rough as the UFC is, they don't crash into each other with a 45 mph closing speed.
I'm sure it will be fine, but would I be willing to risk it? Probably not. If it was, say, Mittelstadt? Sure, but not my franchise player.
It's a poop sandwich and someone has to take a bite. |
