Im surprised that ive liked Vinny over Bjork - hubie
Bjork looks like he could have some skills, just doesn't seem to translate from the head to the hands and feet |

Who would have thought goaloffson would be a complete player and not just a pp specialist?
🤔
Not you 🌮 - Boss34
I never made such predictions. He's certainly developed. I've always been an Olofsson stan, take a look at my posts from when he was dominating Rochester. I specifically spoke about how he managed to continue to build his game every season since his early days in Sveden. I appreciate the effort, though.

Totally agree! Just going of Gerbe's - Buff36
I don't think Gerbe knows any more than most of us to be totally honest. As long as Terry isn't getting his greasy hands on the roster, the cabin boy will only know so much.

Really wanted Bjork to show something. Hard to think he gets a better opportunity than what he has now.

1. Olofsson is moving toward the goal-scoring elite
Victor Olofsson put up five goals in eight games before getting hurt. Only one of those goals came with the man advantage, helping the 26-year-old winger slide away from his reputation as a one-dimensional, power-play specialist.
Olofsson ranks 23rd in the NHL in goals per 60 minutes at 1.72. Entering Tuesday’s schedule, he was ahead of star forwards Anze Kopitar (1.66), John Tavares (1.55), Aleksander Barkov (1.53) and Jake Guentzel (1.48). - TheSabresTaco
He's had a very good start to the year, agreed. If he's hanging with the names listed at game 40, I'd be surprised as well. |

I think River said it in a recent clip I watched. Tuch is probably your captain next year. Gerbe has already made mention of Olo being moved. Was almost sent before the injury.
I’m not a huge fan of sending talent out. But if he isn’t in Adams plans, oh well. Trust the process, right? - Gr8daygo
I think with a lot of these guys, Olo included, it depends a lot on the players' desires. If Olo wants he can go to arbitration, force a 1 year deal and he's gone in a calendar year whether we trade him or not. |

With the atrocious attendance numbers this year, they need a name to put some asses in the seats. Patrick Kane checks that box. I am in no way saying this makes it a good idea, but it doesn't surprise me.

He's all high on the Tuch breath. What advantage could Kane possibly offer this team at this time? A general question for the board. |

I can go with either side of the trade no trade. Im sure there are a bunch of people who still think his two way game is terrible when it has improved. Id definitely trade last years olo, this year i could go either way his value is highest now than later...... hes going to get paid after the year so you/any other team needs to know what they are getting.
Comes down to me what is KA picture of the roster both with players and coach. Id eb jsut as happy him on this team or getting some picks or prospects. - hubie
Good post
I guess we all have favorites, olo happens to be mine.
I really think he has more to give at the nhl level.
Great shot, but a very underappreciated skater, vision and passer.
Probably looking at sam type $.

I buy that. What's the ask? A late 1st? A prime prospect? Both? That's tough.

Kane probably has 5 years left at his current or near current level of play.
Sells tickets
Sells hockey
Should fit the 2 year time frame
Helps the cap hit
He does have a few Stanley cup rings. The veteran leadership that teammates can actually respect.
Okposos experience can only go so far. |

let me rephrase.
What advantage does a trade for Kane provide for a rebuilding team, when the trade will almost assuredly center around a top prospect and a 1st.
NMC, makes 6.9 in celery, UFA after next season. Does Chicago want to get rid of him? Do the Sabres want to pay a premium for a guy they have a good chance of losing before the team is any good? poop doesn't line up to me. |

Im not giving you a 1..... im not giving you a top spec

I like how you spelled sveden. Helps your arguement.
What are you paying him? Years / $
The continuity with asplund (, if real) is a very nice intangible.

Kane = higher attendance and more profit, Kim can spew any speaking points she wants, it comes down to, what will make them money. |

Chicago would laugh at that offer
Why would they want anything less than what we wanted for Eichel ?
But like i said….
Kane isn’t waiving to come to Buffalo,
so it doesn’t matter |
