Not blaming the goaltenders at all.
However that should be the easier position to upgrade at the moment.
The Blue line needs a lot of help, Power alone isn't going to fix it.
I would love an Ethan Bear type younger defensemen - Stripes77
Anderson has been good but shoudlnt be starting.. Tokarski is trash, he never makes a clean save |

Feel that he will crush it down there and almost force himself up - hubie
I want the JJ's the Quinns, the Krebs, and Cozens to light it up in the AHL
Maybe even take a long playoff run to gain that experience. Then the 4 of them all make the big squad next year when it has more Vets filled in, they need a Drury and Briere type trade in the offseason to make this team like the 05-06 Sabres.

Tokarski looks like he is fighting the puck at all times, my buddy who is a goalie coach was texting me and we were talking about that a lot. There is a reason he hasn't stuck in the NHL.
He is making stops but he looks out of position all the time.

In theory i love that. To me get liens together you want long term whether its up or down. I just dont see how they keep kids down then they are garbage up and they are crushing it down. |

He reminds me of 1980s goalie highlights fighting pucks away never making a clean save. He looked so out of place in the PHX game

Those are the only forwards under contract for next season
Throw in Krebs, JJ, Quinn and Cozens, that's 10 forwards. Olofsson is a RFA but Junior said he was getting traded if he was healthy...
The blue line is even worse with only Dahlin under contract.
Throw in Power of course.
Then no goalies under contract.
They are going to have to spend a lot of money again next off season.

I REALLY think that "Hank Bolling" is "GARTH-GARFH-GARP" in disguise. This is how memory stricken you ALL are.
Learning to Swim
"Fans are learning to swim again, too."
It's A Party In The U.S.A.
"Enjoy this ride for what it is, Sabres fans. You deserve it."
“The kids are alright and the veterans are helping lead the way,” play-by-play man Dan Dunleavy said as the whistle ended the game...He couldn't be more right. Okposo and Girgensons are taking charge of a young club that is finding its way to wins despite lacking high-end talent on paper. This is a team that Buffalo will get behind."
Thursday Roundup + Expectations Changing?
"The Sabres need to keep bringing the type of intensity that fans have lauded them for during the early portion of the schedule. The team will at least be mediocre (rather than brutal) if they can maintain their level of passion throughout the long grind of an 82-game schedule...There will be losses. The Sabres’ commitment to the high-tempo, high-intensity brand of hockey under Don Granato means that they’ll still be watchable even when the loss column starts to be populated...
In the meantime, I’ll keep working on parade route ideas."
This isn't meant to TROLL. These are just facts. One has to become a Hockey fan instead of a Sabres fan. When you come to terms to realize that this Organ-i-zation is a second rate AHL Organ-i-zation AT BEST, then its easier to accept them for what they are, not for what they are going to be "in two to three more years."
Keep letting Lucy pull the football away from you as you try to kick the field goal, Charlie Brown! |

He's a smaller goalie, just the way he has to try and look around traffic makes him look of position. I am sick of watching Sabres players stand in front on the paint (Hino, Hagg) as players hack away at the puck and goalie to score a goal. |

Hagg,Miller,Butcher... not sure about the forwards maybe vinny drake and eakin someone wants
Johnson and Samulesson/Laaksonen should be paying some here towards the end of the year on the back end |

so you're saying the parade is now off? - Michael Pachla
No Garth, what im saying is that the Sabres Organization contuinually puts out a $hit product, with no real onus on success. Its been their business model for over 50 years no matter who the owner is, and if you say anything different from that, then the Blue & Yellow pom-pom carrying cheerleaders who read this crap jump all over you when you simply state the obvious.

They're stuck between a rock and a hard place. There's no elite talent in the system to bail them out. So the plan is to suck again. And again.

from what i have seen he only stops the puck (sometimes) he never absorbs it like most goalies now. He is small and struggles to keep up because of screens and his positioning. bring me Houser |
