They could have called me, I would have told them to grab him.
But Guhle was a solid choice. I'm not complaining too much just yet. - Scabeh
Defensemen take a little more time to develop. He was also heavily injured last year. We'll wait and see. |

3 pts in 11 games on the top 2 lines of the best team in the league at 6M$ is pretty bad... |

Yup. He's still pretty young and not playing at his best position (centre) but you'd guess he should produce more next to Aho.
Wonder what his next deal will look like if he keeps underperforming.

I mean, if he doesn't take their long term offer, they'll have to qualify him with a 5M$ offer for next year lol... |

i mean it's pretty much the only way to build a contender anyway but yes - DoubleDown
True, i meant that some teams fast tracked this by getting some key UFA or rental like Hossa in Chicago, etc. I doubt we can do it here, unless we overpay which would end up hurting us in the long run. |

The best part for me though was the reaction of the guy in front of her to her reaction 😂 😂. |

Yeah well, you can still blame Timmins for the picks he was allowed to make. Everytime they trade the picks people act like he would've picked the right guy....
"Oh yeah, if we didn't trade the pick, fans would've been happy with what we had planned"
STFU, you would've most likely picked a USHL bust... - BashCH
1/ (frank)ING PIECE OF poop WEBSITE
2/ Bottom line, MB is at the top and he has full control. I am not defending Timmins, but MB could have made changes any time he wanted, and likely did impact who was picked as much as Timmins has.

I'd be really curious to know exactly in what instances did Bergevin disagreed and ignored Timmins' advice for a draft pick.
