They both need to go and the core needs to at least be looked at (whether or not massive changes happen). Miller needs to go, Boeser needs to either be extended before the TDL if they're wanting to keep him at a reasonable short-term deal or traded for assets.

We're running into the Leafs problem of having a core that just can't get it done (but at least the Maple Laffs make the playoffs every year) and are overpaid for what they provide. I don't know what else can be done, I don't even think with a new coach that we get more than a short-term bump and then crash and burn, that's how messed up the team is right now.

Yes, because it would send the message that no one is safe and that what's happening isn't acceptable. It's either him or Horvat, because that's the only move that would wake these players up.

I only say this because JTM had issues in the Rangers and Lightning organizations when it came to the locker room chemistry.

Petey had his worse game of his career tonight. A terrible season so far. Showed a side of himself this summer that should wake a few fan boys up. I remember all the arguments over him being the real captain of this team. What a joke that argument is now after 3 seasons. Even at the time, what was it based on? A great rookie season? Even then he was showing what a snotty little punk he could be. I saw flags even back then. We know he could be a great player... but a leader? If he's ever going to be that, he needs to change a lot of things.
