While the team construct definitely needs work, the team isn't as bad as they're playing. As we're all aware, once players leave they start playing better. Get new coaches in, get a better structure/identity, and there will be a turn around...

I'm really hoping they fire TG after this road trip.

Time for Henrik and Daniel to step into their roles. Hank behind the bench and Danny in the office. Things aren't as bad as they seem. Quick fixes can be made here and adjustments on the fly.

Maybe Burrows and Kes and Juice can join for D coaches and special teams?

Or just go with Babcock and get this club rolling.

two years now that players and the team have not played well.

It's either David Quinn or Claude Julien for me right now. Julien led a pretty young Boston squad over Van for the Cup. A team structured defensive coach.

Quinn took a not very good Rangers team to plus .500 and got Fox a Norris and Mika over a ppg. Even though he might have struggled with some prospects that were just bad picks by the Rangers.

Gerrard Gallant is not doing much better with any of those rookies. Possibly worse.

Benning's head isn't in the noose yet, but it will be if this season doesn't turn around. I still believe in this roster. There's a lot of talent there. The time to move on from Green & his staff was yesterday. He's not the answer. That's 100% on Jim Benning. Tick tock..

The Canucks have zero balls, it's embarrassing, they have no fight in them. The only guys who had that are gone because Jim Benning didn't manage the cap effectively or he deemed them not useful...one of those or perhaps both?
