The Panthers have sent defenseman Olli Juolevi to Charlotte of the AHL on a conditioning stint, per the AHL’s transactions log. The 23-year-old was acquired from Vancouver in training camp but has yet to make his debut due to an undisclosed injury. The conditioning stint can last up to three games.

Just doing everything not to put him on waivers.

Perfect though because every game Van just falls further down the standings.

I'll take the halfway point of the first.

Hunt-Bowey. oof.

I like that Horvat 2nd line.
Interesting to see Green's favourite child Pearson shifted off Bo's line.

Green building chemistry with every shift of the lines.

You're all dummies. Just wait until the end of the year, every player will have played on every single possible line combination. They'll be so much chemistry on that team it'll be like 12 Sedins up front

I've never played Eagle Mountain, looks nice though, might have to give it a spin.

Tremendous value. It was like $100 and better than courses like Troon. Kind of similar to Sun Ridge Canyon, another good one. beauty views and great shape.

Green taking Jannik Hansen advice. Richard isn't a centre and Pearson is slow.

For me, it's got to be Benning, Weisbrod, Green, Baumgartner.

Allow Johnson/ Doyle and Gear to GM Interm while FA finds ones.

Give the reins to Shaw. Pull up Cull to run the defence. Demote King to AHL coach. Give the special teams to Kyle Gustafson.

Bring in Hank and Dank to take Gustafson's job.

I think Drance wrote an article that was about Richardinson and whether he was a product of Dallas' system or an independently strong defensive player. The conclusion was basically saying he wasn't sure but hopes that Benning guessed right.
So far it looks like it could be another pro-scouting blunder from the management group.

I went back and looked at the responses right after the trade was made.

My immediate response was "No thanks"

Benning got our shutdown 3C

Stars fans say he's great defensively

GM. He seems to know things Benning doesn't.

It's not just D!cky tho.
Our PK has and 4th line have struggled.
Clearly.

Turns out we can't just plug in any old AHL vet on a minimum salary.

Baily-Lammiko-Chaisson sucks.

Motte-Sutter-Highmore are more missed than we give them credit.

This is just my humble opinion; people need to stop referring to the bubble playoffs like it was some huge success story for the team, it was a very unique set of circumstances. The Minnesota Wild series was a good matchup between two middling teams, fun series.

The Blues had come off the Covid break and could never get their feet going, they struggled in the continuation of the regular season (seeding round-robin) and then into the playoffs. Not to mention the Canucks were vastly outshot in that series and Jordan Binnington was just God-awful for the Blues, Jacob Markstrom on the other hand was lights out for Vancouver.

The Vegas series wasn't even close, the Canucks were outplayed so badly by the Golden Knights it wasn't even funny. The ONLY reason they didn't get swept was again Markstrom and Thatcher Demko.

Edit: there were certainly individual successes that should be noted, imo, but not collectively as a team.

- LeftCoaster

They accomplished what they accomplished regardless of the other teams and how they played. It's easy to say Minny was a middling team and STL was 'tired' or whatever. Sure Vegas outplayed them that was apparent but it doesn't change the fact they were 1 game away from the conference finals with a slightly different roster. Any time a 'middling' club threatens to go deep in the PO's of course expectations fro the following season will be raised. No different here. I was just addressing Booners comparison to the bubble team version of the Canucks which was quite different than we have now.

There was a reason Horvat and Miller spoke out against MNGT after that run after MNGT broke up the club a bit. They thought they had something there and maybe they did. Hard to say either way.

The bubble IMO was one of the worst things that could have happened with the team aside from Demko's emergence.

It gave people a false sense that things were working when they clearly weren't. In response, we've dealt more draft picks and thrown more poop against a wall while extending one of the chief culprits behind our ineptitude.

I think FA has to talk to Benning about TG. If Benning supports him then fire them both because he's your chief talent evaluator.
