Hoglander had 14 points in 23 games as a 20 year old.

As a 20 year old Costmar has 2 points in 14 games which is only slight up from his 1 points in 22 games last season.

Jasek is 24 will be 25 when next season starts but is playing all situations in Liiga and is a point per game.

He would probably be the closets prospect the Canucks have to a right handed 4lc.

I always go C unless D is top 2 calibre. As for bottom 10 makes no diff to me this early on. Imo they are still trying to hit their stride & sustain it if referencing the standings. Special teams namely the PP will improve but on the PK we don’t have the horses.

I will repeat that I really like this team (mostly ) so I don't want to come across as complaining. I think as a team they are close but not quite there. A top C a top D and a top bottom 6 guy like Kadri or someone , and a bit more growth from experience to Petey Hughes Hoglander PodK .

I just ate chicken with bread crumbs and crushed almonds on it.

I did not enjoy it.

I really like the top 9 & needs more time to settle in. It’s deep. 4th liners are weak being not really PK types or enough of them. Biggest hole is a top 4 shutdown RHD.

18yrs old is too young. 19yrs old should be draft eligible minimum. Reduce the draft to 6 rounds for a few years & allow it to adjust. No 18yr olds drafted after the 2nd round. Also add a year to NCAA drafted players being not UFA after their senior season. ELC’s will also begin a year later & could help teams deciding value of their youngins come RFA time.

I cheer for the Flames two nights a year , tonight is one of them.
