Does anyone have confidence in Therrien to fix it?

I’m really worried about this tbh. It can’t continue on like this.

Pretty easy game to analyze even though I only saw the second half of the game. My 3 stars of the game are.......Caaaater Haaaat, Caaaater Haaaat and Caaaater Haaat!! I thought this would be a loss cause I've seen Carolina play a few games this year and they suffocate teams with their speed all over the ice. Good to see the Flyers have some push back in the third, but my God who is making some of these decisions on the PP? You're up by a goal late in the third and you send 4 forwards out there?? There needs to be an investigation!!

Yet the Flyers outplayed them in the 3rd period. The Flyers aren't slow. They just tend to play slow.

Was he drunk? Getting a W. C. Fields nose, yet?

Sad I missed this one. Like to hear that Hart stepped it up.

MJL... I'm not a special pleader for Risto, but I swear if he walked on water, you'd say it was because he can't swim.

Alright, that’s a pretty solid line.

Decent retort, too.

Well that was fun! Carter Hart! What a 3rd period. Fletcher, the 4th-liner-waiver-king. Brown with the keep to Braun and deflected in by MacEwen. That was just a perfect game winner. Laughton to Farabee and some big energy on that goal too. And Carter Hart!

Star of the game, no doubt Carter Hart! Once again Hart stood on his head at times and gave the Flyers a chance to win! Second Star: AV and his staff for the adjustments they made coming into the 3rd! I know people love JVR around here, but you have to admit as soon as AV swapped JVR and Konecny the 3rd line with Laughton and Bee looked like a weight had been removed from them and they became faster than lightning; they really caught Carolina off guard! For those who want AV fired, I hope you can at least admit AV helped this team win a huge road game last night! Third Star: get ready to roll them eyes again, RISTO! He was a beast again defensively, it was his puck battle win in the Flyers zone and outlet pass to Laughton that set up the tying goal. He did have on Bonehead play in the 3rd where he left his position to defend Sanheim who was getting his face bashed into the boards, which was an obvious penalty BTW!, but luckily Hart bailed him out.

Honorable Mention: Nate Thompson's PK work last night was outstanding! Another polarizing player but he, at least to me, really showed me something last night on the PK, just so well positioned and really caused havoc for Carolina.

Thumb Down: Once again the PP turned what should have been an easier win into a nail biter, probably the worst they have looked all season! They are struggling with zone entries and not attacking the high slot area, instead settling for low danger point shots.

Whereas last game I thought the Flyers' energy was low and they played slow, tonight I thought the Flyers played the game extremely fast and had their legs throughout the game. Carolina is a really good and fast team, and I thought the Flyers skated well with them tonight, especially after AV moved TK to the 3rd line in the 3rd period.

AV with a pulse, few games late but I’ll take it. TK Laughton Farabee seemed to have instant chemistry

Flyers didn't play a complete game. The PP is atrocious but they came out and took it to the best team in the league arguably in the 3rd period. A team that had given up 1 3rd period goal all year I believe. Something to be said about that. Of course Hart basically stole the game. It's a huge win. Have to stay afloat in this month to make the playoffs with a really tough schedule this month. This was a big step.
- MJL

The Flyers need to play just as strong a game tonight in Dallas against a weaker team, get two more points and really build confidence.

Maybe hindsight but does anyone wish the Flyers signed DeAngelo to a 1 year deal instead of Yandle? I have to admit I was thinking about it as I watched the game last night.

Still laughing about the flyers being on a 3 game losing streak. “Hope the bus trip to Dallas doesn’t tax then too much.”

Ristolianen was not a beast. He played well and made the plays you would expect a top 4 defenseman to make. Including the routine 10 foot pass to a wide open Laughton on the breakout. Laughton with the bank pass and Farabee with the deke made the goal happen.

The Flyers were outskated for most of the game. Did you not see the difference in their level of play for about a 5 minute spurt in the 2nd period and the 3rd? They didn't have their legs all game. If not for Carter Hart, they would've gotten blown out.

Guess I have to play devils advocate here. To me this continues to look very similar to last year at the beginning of the season. If they don't get a tremendous performance from Hart last night it very well may have been ugly. That may have been his best performance as a pro. I will give AV creds for finally changing things up a bit, but who made the nearly disastrous decision to ice 4 forwards on a late game PP with a one goal lead? Only Hart corrected that serious blunder. I agree that I like Risto's game lately cause he is an element that they certainly didn't have last year and I really don't mind that he defended Sanheim when he had his face smashed against the glass. Wasn't it kind of like that last year where whatever line JVR went on became a turtle fest?

Nice win, great game by Hart. Braun has done a solid job playing on the 1st unit and props to RR for stepping up and playing noticeably better.
Simply need more from Lindblom and JVR, 1 goal between the two of them is not good enough in any league . I was really looking forward to having Allison in this lineup, as he showed very well in his 14 games last year. Can't wait to get him back out there

He could help any NHL blue line. Including the Flyers. Obviously the proof will come if he can show this year that he’s matured. I mean his past speaks for it self….talent aside.
But, yes I did think that last night watching him play.

Risto was solid last night…I’m not sure he deserved a star, but it’s pretty obvious to most the he’s getting use to his new surroundings. I still think he can bring more offence to his game, but even that is improving. He is making the little subtle plays in his own end with more regularity and starting to get more pucks to the net.
From what I’ve seen he’s not a top pair d man but a very solid top 4. Something it seems the Flyers can always use.
