How did Alex Lyon end up in goal for Carolina tonight? I didn't even know he was in their organization. Carolina has a goalie issue as does Edmonton. These teams need to make improvements at that position or they are going nowhere! Sorry, the Flyers bore me.

I think it’s more the NHL. Having to trade pieces tied to draft picks is sickening because of a hard cap, the “parity” throughout the league that’s mostly there because they give out points like candy. The sport isn’t very physical anymore. I don’t know what’s up with me.

Yup, Risto has been fine for a quite a few games now, glad others are finally seeing what I have been seeing. He was a beast again in the corners, I think he was the best Flyers defenseman tonight!

Others are saying that Ristolainen is playing fine now because he is. It's not a case of others seeing what you're seeing. When you were saying he was good earlier in the season, he was not.
Take a look at Ristolainen's play on the Pavelski goal. He was a real beast.
