Frustration is boiling over. Time to get out the axe and cut off the heads of the overseers.

He’s past his due date for sure.

No confidence whatsoever, especially on special teams they are awefull.

How's that for beer league reffing, i shut it off after that demko penalty, OEL gets 4 for taking a punch in the head, he did absolutley nothing there, bailey takes a love tap penalty right after that lol, OEL touches a skate blade the guy falls over lol, did i miss any. ,

Refs were goofs tonight. Fabricating penalties the entire game. Not only was the Demko call fabricated... it was on a obvious offside play. Disgusting.

Boeser led the team in shots on goal.

He’s getting hung out to dry without a C feeding him. Needs service to be scoring.

He doesn’t have the answers. He cannot morph as needed. The PK hurts missing Motte & Sutter & simply not the right players to fill in.

I said it during the preseason. Re-signing Green will be the end of Benning. In the eyes of Benning haters, this was his best move yet.

I say tomorrow we lose 5-0 and Green gets canned. Benning is on the hot seat and is going to want to pull out all stops to keep from being canned himself. Leave it any later and they might as well pull the plug on the season and start seriously interviewing candidates for GM/HC because they aren't pulling out of this without some sort of nuclear bomb going off in the middle of them.

They should have signed him for 3 months.

Division losses are costly. You could be right. Make the change or may as well tank. I’d guess it is a game to game at this point.

Day to day

I'm not sure how much room FA is going to give Benning to work/hire a new coach. I think if/when they fire TG, they'll just put the interim tag on Shaw and let him run it for the rest of the season. Benning gone at the TDL if the team is out of the playoff race by then.

Sounds about right 👍

Take a massive turnaround to get this on the tracks for the playoffs. Don’t see it happening if I had to bet so something will give. JB won’t see the TDL & guess he’s gone by Xmas.

I just really hope they're both gone at the end of this trip. It's getting Shakespearean in it's comedy. Feel for the guys in the room, so much chatter around it and after last year, their confidence must be so low

I would be fine with Lane Lambert as coach and either promoting Ryan Johnson or hiring Scott Mellanby.

That's a big move if they're both gone by Monday. You'd better have a coach lined up if nothing else. That's a whole lot of organizational responsibility an trust to put on Shaw if that's who you have in mind. We're in the midst of a season with trades and everything. Weisbrod getting the interim nod as well?

It's mid-November, can the (frank)ing coach. Bring in another and the GM's ass is on the line as well. I'm not a Benning apologist by any means and IF he still supports TG then his ass should be gone as well. But he's put this team together, at least give our new coach a chance instead of saddling him with so much responsibility or putting them in a lame duck situation.

At least keeping Benning for the season has some semblance of stability. Can him in the new year if things don't improve or even worse regress. Just (frank)ing approve trades.

Hahaha, must be funny for other GM's when you tell them your owner has to approve a trade that doesn't involve taking on huge money

I hope they're both gone ASAP, but I don't think they'd actually do it. JB is trying to save his ass, so he's going to draw this out as long as he can. FA must be feeling some pressure though, so who knows how short of a leash he has for JB – but from all accounts they're very much on the same page so that sort of suck. Lol.

I think you give Shaw the interim tag, maybe let him bring in a new special teams coach and go from there.

Switching Benning out is much harder right now, as Weisbrod is poop as well. So maybe they'd interim RJ from Abby just to go over the day-to-day stuff as they conduct a new search. Having a new GM in sooner would actually make more sense, as getting them up to speed before the TDL would be a big bonus. Personally I don't want JB in charge at that point, he's going to keep pushing chips in trying to save his job.

I don't think it is a good idea to keep someone around that has been trying to rebuild a team for 8 years and allow that person any type of control.
He would probably waive someone else, because that player was a meanie one practise.

Benning has built this team of pansies, time is long overdue to start to right the ship

I don't care if Benning is fired, but you'd better have a better plan than bringing in "Doug from copy" to see what he's got. I'd much rather have Benning hire a vet coach and go from there. It's mid-November, not even US thanksgiving.

I can't be alone thinking WD could coach this team better right now.

He's had 2 first time NHL head coaches. Why not try a new coach for 3 months before you judge the entire tenure? I mean if you were willing to can the GM 6 weeks into the season why allow him to trade 1 year of bad salary for 7 more?

You have to try a new coach unless you have a solid team ready to take over.

The problem is is that if JB brings in a new coach, he could get fired so you have a new GM with a coach he might not want.

I think Shaw as interim is solid until you get a new GM in place and they can make that decision. Having an interim GM like RJ just to hold down the fort and run the day-to-day things of calling up players, putting people on IR, whatever else... no trades or moves, just a holding pattern until a new GM comes on board.
