That being said, I want to see what Shaw can do as HC with better assistants. Guy has been an assistant in the NHL for a long time and has learned a lot about how to coach in this league. We all blast Tortes, but his last assistant before Shaw took the Penguins to two cups in a row.

Biggest issue with Green is that he thought he was too good to be an NHL assistant, it was HC or nothing. That right there was the ultimate red flag for not hiring him.

Maybe we should have signed Reaves for a year? Set some examples...

Reaves isn't strong in battles though. He doesn't want it more. He runs around like a bull seeing red everywhere. That isn't what the team needs.

Maybe not in the sense of running around like a clown but that presence would be nice to have. The message would be there and the constant cheap shots would dwindle rapidly.

In jr B I saw much smaller, weaker captains than Bo hang a licking on guys for much less than I’ve seen the Canucks put through the last 6 games. The reaction last night to the Podz hit was the last straw for me. This weasel is not a leader.

Smoked a pork butt and pulled it on Friday.

Plenty. Don't have Saxon but grabbed a new 180g copy of Highway to Hell while shopping with my Daughter this week. Seems like a fitting choice for today.
