Green said he wants to limit his ice time to 13-15 a game max.
- manvanfan

That would be more ice time...

It might be easier if the team plane goes down and we start fresh with an expansion draft.

The team is funking hard. Miller can't be asked by himself to drag the team into the fight every night.

Canucks for years have been missing players that what McNabb did last night. Unfortunately Benning is unable to draft players like that as well. Canucks not only have the softest team on the ice but I have seen absolutely nothing physical at all from any of their prospects. Even their biggest players are soft as marshmallows.

- manvanfan

Speaking of soft Canucks...Gadj and Zac mac were drafted by Benning but in the end, Green has no use for them. Meanwhile, better teams have poached them and are finding a use for them in their line up...

I can't watch Green's pressers. Engineer of the excuse train.
- Marwood

4 or 5 games ago he was asked in the post game presser what the logic is of some of the line combos he juggles in game. He replied that he asks players before hand who they like to play with.

Ok, but what kind of answers do you expect? These guys unconsciously all stick up for and promote each other. You are not going to get an answer that has them 1. throwing each other under the bus. 2. telling the coach you would rather a different line mate than the ones he's trying.

To me, it was just once again passing the buck.

It's Green. He just isn't an NHL coach.

Not that it's his fault, but Jason Richardensen has been a pretty big disappointment so far as well. Does nothing really.
- canucksfan1944

Such an effective shut down player for the Stars though.... JB said that would be his role and it would free up Bo to play a more offensive role. Green repeated this before camp. But the season started and he talks about Bo and Pearson getting the big match up assignments.

More of Green misusing players that work well on other teams. They are good before Green gets them, and typically are good when they move on.

Proof he should be gone then.
No clue about line dynamics at all.

And that will signal the start of a rebuild.

If you fire the GM you’re saying you have no faith in the foundation he’s built.

And if this is true I think they should start by trading away the Chicken**** captain that we have here. In jr B I saw much smaller, weaker captains than Bo hang a licking on guys for much less than I’ve seen the Canucks put through the last 6 games. The reaction last night to the Podz hit was the last straw for me. This weasel is not a leader.

- I-own_da-Northwest

Bo has been this teams most consistent player during the Benning era. He is excellent on the PP and is one of the league's top face off guys. He is or was on pace for a career season currently. His contract is a great value... much better than anyone on this team. You want to trade him because he doesn't jump other players over clean checks?

Green's system is about individual talent and not a team game.

Last night's opening face off. Miller win's the draw, both Van D back up because they are being pressured by 2 Vegas players and all 3 Canucks forwards skate away from the defence to the opposing teams blue line.

The amount of times that the Canucks blue liners are forced to try and pass the puck from near their own net to the other teams blue line is just stupid.

A similar trade was posted on here quite some time ago, it didn't go over well.

People on Twitter are suggesting EP may be the issue in the dressing room.
- VanHockeyGuy

I've speculated it might be Miller... but it could be Petey... or more likely, something going on between these two players that is awkward and distracting.

I think it's Miller. You could kind of see it bubbling to the surface last year between him and a couple of players.
- Load Management

Miller also has history of this to some degree.
