Last night's opening face off. Miller win's the draw, both Van D back up because they are being pressured by 2 Vegas players and all 3 Canucks forwards skate away from the defence to the opposing teams blue line.

The amount of times that the Canucks blue liners are forced to try and pass the puck from near their own net to the other teams blue line is just stupid.

Traded my game viewing time for War Thunder and listening to the game a while back. Between the red headed stepchild doing color and this team's play.... think I'll pass on listening to it also.

A similar trade was posted on here quite some time ago, it didn't go over well.

Hughes works well for NJ and Smith and a 1st works well for us. the pick doesnt need to be protected either. And I like the Wahlstrom deal NYI needs another C / W up against those tough Eastern teams.

The Canucks should probably play with 4 D on the ice at the same time then so they move together up the ice.

I agree with this . His shot is okay but it is not an 8 mil dollar shot. He is not even used as the trigger man on the PP . They have QH at the point firing snowballs

He could produce a lot better on the PP if he were used differently. That could be said for Petey as well. And OEL... well I guess the list could go on and on right....

Abbotsford starts in 20 minutes. Listen to that.

Another person I would consider for GM aside from Johnson is Laurence Gilman. He definitely knows about the cap and daily operations but more importantly he has worked for three bumbling GMs and should have learnt what not to do.

I’d lean towards canning Green & interim Shaw. Baumer can go & hire an interim D coach as well. King can stay temporarily & be assessed during the season. Still need a Pres no matter what. JB can stay but have bis hands tied on trades etc til then.

Arseneau made direct contact to Joel Kellman’s head with his shoulder. Kellman didn’t even really have the puck.

Arseneau is gone and I’d expect a suspension too.

Kellman is on the stretcher, and being taken off the ice now.
