My point wasn’t they wanted out but that they said the organization is a gong show. Eichel wanted out because they wanted him to have a surgery he didn’t want. At least that’s my understanding, although Buffalo and the Canucks are pretty much two of a kind in terms of internal turmoil and dysfunction. - LeftCoaster

Terrible show . Reminded me of a married couple before a divorce. Stopped watching. I have never listened to Sekeres so can't comment. |

From Twitter…
“Wow, hearing the Canucks have pulled advertising/sponsorship from a couple of Vancouver sports shows”
- LeftCoaster
good teams dont need to spend money on advertising... the play on the ice is advertising enough. If the Canucks need to advertise in order to sell tickets, that tells you either their on ice product sucks or that their ticket price is too high. Right now the on ice product sucks. I wont be surprised if they get booed at the next home game.

Fire Green. if that doesn't work, fire Benning, if that doesn't work, trade Horvat or BB for a Dman. If that doesn't work, trade JTM at next deadline. We should not suck this bad! |

most media are nothing more than fans of the sport with a platform.
at the end of the day, it's all just opinions being thrown back and forth. and i find that i'd rather have a back and forth (even if it straddles the line of civility lol) in here than hear some random guy's opinion. even if that random guy has a show.
i listen to a fair number of podcasts and none are hockey related. i figure if something is worth hearing/seeing/reading it will get posted here where it will be discussed with multiple opinions. i find that better than most of the media around (though like i said i don't pay much attention to them lol.)

Kind of in that same vein, Jay Onrait seemed so excited to talk to Farhan about how bad the Canucks are last night after Monday night football. Dumpster Fire I believe was the word used. I can't disagree, but folks love to hate Van. There's rarely indifference. Honestly I think part of that is the fact that before this run, for my generation (I'm 38) the Canucks were really good for a long period ... at least in the reg season. It's what was such a letdown for me after the bubble cause there was some sense that maybe the next good wave was coming.
I think history will look back at this team and that moment when Trevor left and JB tried to shortcut at the instruction of FA. I'm really surprised they got the Sedins to attach their name to this era of the team after seeing what happened to Linden. |

I'm not on twitter but I feel like I don't miss a beat with this place.
And seriously, most sports shows are just panels discussing news/tweets or issues of the day. Pretty much what we do in here on a more juvenile level if that's even possible. Why do I need to listen to sekeres and think "what an idiot," when I can come in here and tell someone that who holds the same opinion. |

All of them, players who’ve left, have said the organization is a shit-show internally. Surprised Francesco hasn’t said anything about it.
He fired Linden because of philosophical differences, he fired Gillis for similar reasons, and Gillis is arrogant….yet he keeps Benning because he does what he’s told and he’s got shit for brains.
The position the club is in says much more about ownership than any other one particular thing. - LeftCoaster
Great interview by the 32 thoughts guys with Mike Forde today. Something that the Canucks could really use a dose of. |

You need to pick and choose what you listen to. I agree with MV comments about two guys trying to stay afloat. I listened for a couple of weeks and dropped them. The public likes them so my opinion doesn't really matter.

I just had a dream I did Cable work for Donald Trump and I got fired in one afternoon. He was a cheap son of a b1tch in my dreams. He wanted to spend 4 dollars on tools only.

I stay on the line and ask them for my drugs back. They hang up immediately. I have lots of free time to screw with people these days.
