Flyers PP sucks, Kevin Hayes scores on his return and then re-injures himself. Flames look much more disciplined under Sutter |

Decent game, momentum shifting in waves. Flames just battle for pucks all over the ice. Would be nice to see more than just Höglander and Garland doing that for the Canucks. |

Since when did football guy Farhan become a Canucks insider?
Farhan: “I think you’ve got a bunch of immature players that aren’t willing to look at themselves in the mirror and I think this locker room is broken.” #canucks |

I feel as if that's a team that had a new/more experienced coach and it helped a bit but they are now just playing to their quality. |

4-2-4 in their last 10 for 12 points, and in every game they play. They are 💯 better team than the Canucks, and I hate the 🔥 |

That’s exactly what I was thinking, or at least what I was thinking Nucker is thinking because anybody that finishes near the bottom of the standings and picks a good young player is a genius in his mind |

Basil McRae, Assistant General Manager
Basil McRae was named assistant general manager of the Columbus Blue Jackets on June 13, 2019 after serving as director of player personnel since July 6, 2016. He rejoined the club after originally serving as a scout in 2013-14.
McRae, who has been a part owner of the Ontario Hockey League's London Knights since 2000, also spent the past two years as alternate governor and general manager of the club. Last season, London captured OHL and Memorial Cup championships. Prior to his original stint in Columbus, McRae served as a scout for the St. Louis Blues for five seasons.
In addition to nearly two decades of scouting experience, McRae played 16 seasons in the NHL between 1981-96, registering 53 goals and 83 assists for 136 points with 2,453 penalty minutes in 576 games with the Quebec Nordiques, Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota North Stars, Tampa Bay Lightning, St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks. The Beaverton, Ontario native was a fifth round pick of Quebec in the 1980 NHL Draft.
A name for the Canucks next GM.
Working under Kekko, you know guy knows what he is doing, plus Jon Davidson. |

Calgary lost, but they lost in overtime so they got a point. Those loser points are really valuable at the end of the year. |

Wasn’t he a tough guy for the Sabres? Goes to check….
Edit: nope…it was the Minnesota North Stars. |

Yes the lost 6 of 10.
No team should set their yearly ambitions on being better than the Canucks.

The Canucks could win three of the next four and be right back in the mediocre pile, however, if they lose three of four…it’s a much different scenario. |

With like 2000 plus PIM, he was probably just all around tough. This soft Canucks team could use a GM that's tough.
I just like that he has been GM/owner of one of the best OHL clubs for two decades. Was a scout, so recognizes talent. Was there in STL when they drafted Pietro, Tarasenko, Schwartz.
