So we WERE using NAK wrong the whole time! He is a top line PP1 player afterall!
More blatant malfeasance from this organization allowing a top line PP1 player to leave for nothing. - MBFlyerfan
stinks
bust of a 2nd round pick

None of that has anything to do with waiving him. Keep spinning.

What NAK does in Colorado doesn't really concern me. What concerns me is having the worst 4th line in the league.

I think Giroux walks at the end of this season, the level of incompetence in this organization is incredible |

He only walks if they can't come to an agreement. He wants to remain a Flyer in my opinion. |

You’d think he wants a shot to win though, the writing may be on the wall. Obviously something to say about being comfortable off the ice, young kids but idk, seems like a guy that wants to win. |

Watched the AV pre game presser, can’t make this stuff up. Reporters question was how impressed have you been with Seeler and AV raves about him and then stated the 7th Dman probably gets about 50-60 games LOL . Strap in gentleman, it’s going to be a long year |

Sounds like he knows that Ellis is going to miss a bunch of time. I didn't see the presser but context is important. I can't complain about Seeler's compete level or his work ethic. His ability as a player is what it is.

Guy gives it his all, just praying he doesn’t self terminate again. This season has gotten scary quick. Really hoping the offense can find a groove |

Unless your goalie stands on his head, you aren’t going to win consistently with:
A powerplay that’s a disaster
A 2C coming off 2 significant core surgeries within 6 months
A top pair D who is on the shelf indefinitely
A 3rd pairing which is basically a pp specialist paired with an AHL level partner
A 4th line consisting of 2 borderline NHL players and a guy who should retire
A head coach who waits way too long to make adjustments
This isn’t being negative, it’s being honest. |

Unfortunately, I can't disagree. My comment is that it is a long season.
I still think this team can be a playoff team. From there anything can happen.
I still come back to what I've been saying all along. They're still waiting on young players. You can't escape that. The moves they've already made and might make are more likely to lessen their odds of success than to help them.
I talked a lot about the moves made in the off season. While I won't say at this point that I was right. I will say that at this point, it looks like I was right. It's early though. It wouldn't surprise me to see them come out and spank Calgary tonight. |

while I agree, I agree more with it is still a young season and as you said anything can happen. Then I look around at other teams and most that were supposed to be in it with the Flyers have their own struggles. Has the league just been balanced out, that most all teams will struggle. Or is it more likely it is just to soon and we don't know what the teams are at the moment. I want the youth to step forward but I am not as jacked up about the system as I was at one time. They really need to hit on York, Frost and the more recent picks, they need to be closer to their ceiling or they might just stay a good team that could catch fire at the right moment. Lets hope Hart gets us to a better spot where the current team can at least play their best hockey.

I hear ya but this team has let me down so much in recent years that it’s hard to have any faith in them. |
