NHL GM’s, and coaches have proven to be wrong a lot in their assessments. To discount that fact is ignoring reality.

When looking at the Flyers the last decade, it should be very clear that deep rooted processes, and analysis of how things are done is necessary.

Their attendance numbers the last few seasons, including this one show that even long time fans are starting to question the directions the team willingly takes.

I used to trust this team long ago, more so because of Snider. There have zero trust from me now.

Before 2019-20, in the last 4 seasons prior, the lowest was 98% +.

Congrats to Rick Tocchet and Paul Holmgren. Both well deserved to be in the Flyers Hall of Fame. When you think about it, amazing that Holmgren was a player, assistant coach, head coach, GM and team President. Unprecedented in the league.

question for the group, how does the ESPN contract benefit the league? there hasn't been a regular game on the cable,satellite channel in weeks, ESPN+ is fine for streaming but where are the cable version of games? also, it seems that TNT has relegated the NHL to the 10PM time slot on wednesday's, again, where is the TV exposure for the league, just asking

I brought this up awhile ago and unfortunately there is an easy answer. Buttman took the money and ran. This is terrible for the league. NBC did a good job of marketing the sport and their ratings were pretty good relatively speaking. Now the game is invisible. I can't believe that ESPN won't put a few games a week on ESPN2. NBC was very good about putting games on NBCSN. Don't even get me started on TNT. I have no idea what the deal is with putting games on at 10PM on Wednesday nights. Brutal decision by Buttman and I'm not hater of him usually.
