Definitely wouldn't have been my choice for guys to move up with Sid but at least it's a change |

I predicted 5 games for Simon to be on Sid's line. Only took 3. |

Why is Matheson chasing a guy who is already covered by a forward? This team is a sloppy mess. |

Dude, I was at that game, and all I could think of were the comments you guys would be making about that lol |

Honestly, I'd much rather end the playoff streak this season, retool for a year or two, and still have a chance at another Cup with Sid. I wonder how much Hextall has wanted to rebuild and Burkle/Lemieux have refused. Both of those guys know a rebuild likely equates to financial losses. Burkle especially is wealthy, but he seemed to be the kind of owner who would leave as soon as the going got tough. He made a hell of an investment, it worked, he won and made money, now its time to cash out.
Im really glad Lemieux is sticking around. It wouldnt make sense for him to sell his full stake. Keep a little bit, take a step back, and let these new guys come in.
If we had to get bought, Id much rather be bought by guys who have done it before. Really good NYT article on how they rebuilt Liverpool into a powerhouse.

Can't go this many games without pp goals. We could have a few more wins if we score on some. |

Mario will be a figurehead. I don't think he will have any say on personnel any longer. If the Pens miss the playoffs or flame out in the first round again, It definitely will be the end of Geno and Letang. Rebuild will begin. As you say, might be for the best.

I wouldn't say that. I will say there's no chance with Sid, Letang and Geno. Depends on which route they go. |

I say there's a better chance with Sid, GEno, and Letang on the team for the next 2-3 years than rebuilding for a few years around a 37-39 year old Sid |
