That's not always how it works. Especially when the minority owner is someone of his stature. If I had to guess, some of the thought process will be taking Mario off the hook for some unpopular decisions in the near term. We all know what those are.

Huge fan of Palat, I think he's what GMJR thought Zucker was. Great complimentary player that can play with elite talent.

Gaudreau would be great too, but I think of him more as a complimentary winger because if you lose GEno, you still gotta get a 2C to play Johnny.

Tokarski is having the game of his life, but it would have been nice if the Pens approached the first two periods like this one.
