i like hurts but the team is outperforming my expectations right now - 2Real
Really? Not competing against good teams and beating up on terrible teams? That was your expectation?
I like Hurts. I do not think he takes this team to a Super Bowl. He is not a good enough passer.
The Eagles are setup to stand pat going into next year. No doubt they will win some games down the stretch and possibly make thee playoffs. That is the wrong move.

What would you have them do? Be specific...

Be good enough to beat the good teams? Seems like the ideal scenario right?

Thats not very specific. That's like saying: what they need to do is win the Supe...😂
It boils down to draft and develop or trade. I thought you were in the former camp... |

I am. Roseman is not very good at drafting players. Specifically WR's. DeVonta Smith not included.
So specifically. I would go back three years in time and fire Roseman.

Oh Great! Now we've turned into Eagles talk!! As if those loser talk radio stations don't beat Eagles talk to death enough for us! If it's not borearsye politics it's the Eagles. Snooze! Luckiest SB win in the history of the NFL. Totally average QB has the game of his life at the right time. |

Well. He has had many, many misses. Hard to argue. But a lot of good players after the first: Sanders, Goedert, Mailata, Josh Sweat.
You don't say: we are awful in drafting so we will trade away our picks.
Remember: they are rebuilding, after all.
My concern is that they and Colts and Dolphins keep winning.

I would fire Roseman and keep the picks. Use the picks to get younger on defense and on the O-Line. Not sure there is a stud QB in this draft. Colts and Eagles are going to win more games. Dolphins defense is really good. Not sure how they are as bad as they are record wise. So probably three picks in the 8-16 range for the Eagles. I am fine with that.

Call them both up and have a 4t line of Willman-Frost-Zac. Speed skill and grit. Much rather see it than the slop they continue to roll out. Will never happen with this archaic coaching staff. - hello it's me 2050

I noticed his speed and the Flyers could certainly use all that they can get with this forward group. I actually noticed him more than Frost in those games.

No, don't call up Frost yet. Willman wasn't anything special. Play Brassard at center on the 4th line.

yes call them both up. Willman not anything special (whopping 2 game sample size)l, please describe nate and brown.
When you put a skill guy like willman, who also has speed, how do you think he will perform with 2 slugs on his line? Keep playing no upside bums like nate and brown. That strategy has worked wonders for the flyers the last ..
Either way Frost will add much needed skill and talent. Oh my bad they may ruin him if they put him in a role he isnt ready for.... |

I’m not in favor of playing Frost on fourth line but I’d like to call both those guys up. Maybe too early but he’s played well. Let’s get some speed in this lineup and get the fourth line a chance to score a goal. Brass willman and Mac would be a good one |

The upside of frost and willman is much greater than the 2 slugs. Both been playing the pk. Maybe just maybe they can help in that dept. as well. Nah keep rolling what "works".

In fairness to those loser talk radio stations, they also beat the Ben Simmons situation to death too.
Hell would be to have headphones surgically attached to your ears for all eternity listening to that stuff. |

Where have we heard that before? I took WIP off my presets years ago and recently took 97.5 and that snowflake Mikey miss off my presets too. |

Sorry, but last thing this team needs is more skill and speed.
I hope CF gets us some more replacement-level grinders. |

Just a couple of years ago, I heard the story that Flyers D was set for years. What used to be a weakness for the club (home grown solid D) was now a future strength.
Between Provorov, Ghost, Myers, Sanheim and Morin, the the pool to draw the front 4 were largely set. Between Alt, Friedman and Hagg, and someone from above, so was the pool for the bottom pairing.
Leafs would "kill to have the young D we have", someone here was fond of saying. Multiple people pooh-poohed a Nylander for Sanheim trade.
Fast forward to today. 4 of our 6 are veteran D signed from outside. One of the remaining two is an above average #1 but not considered top tier. One is a below average 2nd pairing guy.
In the meantime, for two post-seasons in a row, Nylander has been the best Leafs forward, averaging ppg in the post-season. He is also averaging ppg in the regular season as well.
So, wise men of HB, wtf happened? |

The odds of this happening are the same odds as Risto not being re-signed. Negligible to non-existent. |
