Just stating facts. League gave the Oilers a sweet schedule to start. What 2 eastern teams so far. I guess Bettman wants McBaby to stay in Edmonton. It’s a long season and will even out eventually.
Like I said the other night at least Green has the Canucks playing consistently.

In maybe a perfect world and a world where everything went exactly to plan but that's probably not a world in professional sports that exists.

I believe after 8 years the team should look much more competitive than it is right now.

On paper it looks a lot better than a lot of rosters that are ahead of them in the standings but that's why they play the games.

Do I want the team to make some changes, for sure I do. That's up to the owner. If the owner wants fans in the stands, he will have to make changes.

Do I think I am owed something because the team I cheer for sucks? No, not even slightly. If you don't like the team or management, don't go to games, don't watch games, don't buy merchandise but am I owed anything for cheering for a sports team, nooo.

Last 50 years bro...

Compared to BC prices it was inexpensive. 575 USD for a 1900 sq ft place (built in 2005), in a Marwood gated community, with a double car garage that fits a full size truck and my wife’s SUV.

The people we bought it from paid 385 USD five years ago so things have gone way up but we sold both of our properties at the top of the market so I can still afford the occasional hot dog and a couple beers

That's great man good for you. I build houses and you can't touch 1900 for that price. We bought ours 2.5 years ago and it has almost doubled. We're going to hopefully cash out before the market turns if it does and build a basic new place for less then ours is worth. Enjoy the sun

Maybe sports teams don't 'owe' their fans anything, but when they promise entertainment and a winning team and don't deliver, they shouldn't be surprised when the fans get fed up with it and demand change. It's time to put up or shut up, and making excuses or refusing to answer hard questions, isn't acceptable anymore. Everyone needs to go, and a new plan needs to be made and executed, because this group has had more than enough time to do what they promised.

When you go to a restaurant and the food sucks, do you go to the owners and tell them they need to get better cooks or you aren't going to come anymore?

You go see a movie and you don't like the movie. Do you call up the production company and tell them they need to hire a new director for movies or better actors because the movie sucked.

No one is saying that you have to enjoy watching the team suck but literally what you described was the team owing you something still. Getting fed up and demanding change.

You can simply choose to not watch the team anymore until change is made or just live with it until something happens.

I don't even mind the female doging but demanding change or atoning for his failures is just a bit different.
