I this one...

“The moves we made this summer, I would have never envisioned we got off to this start,” said Benning. “But we have, now we have to deal with it and we've got to figure it out.”

Chicago is now ahead of Van with their 4 game win streak.

Good thing Canucks fans can hang onto the fact that STL won the cup from last in the league and the Oilers missed the playoffs for 12 straight years

When you go to a restaurant and the food sucks, do you go to the owners and tell them they need to get better cooks or you aren't going to come anymore?

You go see a movie and you don't like the movie. Do you call up the production company and tell them they need to hire a new director for movies or better actors because the movie sucked.

No one is saying that you have to enjoy watching the team suck but literally what you described was the team owing you something still. Getting fed up and demanding change.

You can simply choose to not watch the team anymore until change is made or just live with it until something happens.

I don't even mind the female doging but demanding change or atoning for his failures is just a bit different.

As someone with A LOT of restaurant experience, I can tell you this happens regularly

As for other industries, I couldn’t say. But you’re wrong (as usual ) the word fan(atic) infers a certain justification for satisfaction…

Personally, I don’t feel the Aquilinis owe me anything personally, but they made some big promises to their customers and they haven’t delivered. As a season ticket holder would you think that they should refund your money? After all, if the chef burnt your steak you surely wouldn’t expect to pay for it…

No, that fanatics feel entitled to go to the highest level to make their dissatisfaction heard and demand compensation.

Usually their complaints are baseless, sometimes they are justified. Neither one of us has been “harmed” by Benning’s incompetence. We’re not season ticket holders, and I get the sense that you haven’t been going out and buying Dahlen or Eriksson jerseys. So for us it’s entertainment, or entertain-not…

Let us know when you win the cup

- VANTEL

Not sure you or I will still be alive then. Seriously though I don’t think everyone starts out thinking “we have to win a cup”. Yes that’s great but as a fan I think you just want to see a good team to cheer for.
You once referred to me as a closet Canucks fan and to some degree I am. Our division is always better when our rivalry is healthy. Some of my best friends cheer for the Canucks, watching them play this way is not fun. I don’t cheer for Canuck losses. Geez some of my buddies have stopped watching because of what’s going on now, it’s beyond comical.

I've lived in Van since the 80's and lurked this site since 2008 and have felt like sharing many times but have finally signed up. Been lucky enough to have access to lots of tickets over many years including the cup run of 2011.

I was at the last game in very good seats. The players have to perform - your top guys Pettersen and Boeser can't create anything.

I also don't know how sh*t works on this site

Miller is by far our best player, he's a beast out there if you can see him in person

I’m a big time fan win or lose. This is a good time for them to stink lol. Packing to move & no clue when a highway is open to do so.

And how about Hughes with the selfish cross check to Girard because he turned back? This teams PK is epicly bad

His stinker of a pass to seal the loss was also pretty impressive.

I enjoy the games still . I love the effort of the new guys and the second year guys. The Prima Donnas piss me off .

This is a wasted year and instead of trying to cover it up go all in and try for the number one pick and see what next year brings.

I know quite a few people who work in restuarants and a few owners of restaurants and I've never heard them female dog about someone telling them they need new cooks. All sort of female doging about other poop though.

Entertainment vs food is a bit different.

Green sucks we know.

Even after losing Gio, Marky with 5 shutouts. Ian Clark is supposed to be a goalie coach god according to Van media.

I would like to see Dowling tried on the PK. It always seems to go back to same guys and groups that aren'tworking. Lammikko hasn't done poop. Green makes all 4th liners look like ECHL players though.

I think this speaks even more to coaching and systems than anything else. Calgary lost its best defender, but now that Sutter has been able to fully implement/have players integrate into his system, Marky is getting more shutouts than he had in Van and last in year Calgary.

Shows how much a coaching change can impact a team
