I'm not deciding to move him after his performance in two games. They will just need the cap space to sign Soup, and 3.8 is going to be too rich for a backup goalie next year. And yes, offseason move.

This is legit a penalty you can't 'shoot' a stick regardless of if it's your teammates or a guy from the other team. I assume the spirit of the rule is so if an opposing player loses their stick you can't jettison it down to the far end of the rink. lol

That's also why you see players pick up the goalie stick and bring it back to the goalie vs just 'shooting' it to them.

Now if you have 2 sticks in your hand and play the puck it's also an instant penalty.

Let’s not get carried away. Campbell was good but Leafs only gave up 28 shots. It’s not as if Rangers outplayed them. Rangers only came on after iffy goal, and Campbell was very good after that.

Ritchie, Kerfoot out for cheaper replacements could save some money but if Campbell is the sure-fire #1 at year end then Mrazek's 3.8 has probably got to move.
