He told some really good Harold Ballard stories, about how Ballard would yell down from the darkened seats during practice, stopping the practice, to tell the coach Dan Maloney to "make sure those players are listening to you!". 😂 Talked about how Borje Salming was an absolute legend, how they went skiing one morning on a game day, and Salming went out and dominated playing "33 minutes at age 33"😂. He also confirmed Kypreos' story that Iafrate used to ride to games on his Harley in a long black leather trenchcoat with *nothing* on underneath.😂😂😂

No he didn't. Not even close. But it was a one of a kind season for sure

Ehh... It's hard to argue against the idea that he's done something that no one has really done before.

He was 4+ WAR in both pitcher and batter statistics which is pretty impressive. Then again, neither WAR value is at MVP levels in either role and I'm also not quite as impressed with his accomplishment being that he had zero starts as a position player and played less than 2 games worth of innings actually out in the field all year.

I think he deserved it over Vladdy and Semien, but I do think his year has been overblown a bit.
