The magic, for some happens after their first cup of coffee.

Ehh... It's hard to argue against the idea that he's done something that no one has really done before.

He was 4+ WAR in both pitcher and batter statistics which is pretty impressive. Then again, neither WAR value is at MVP levels in either role and I'm also not quite as impressed with his accomplishment being that he had zero starts as a position player and played less than 2 games worth of innings actually out in the field all year.

I think he deserved it over Vladdy and Semien, but I do think his year has been overblown a bit.

Much better but I recently found out that I’m gonna get plunked into the epilepsy ward for a couple weeks. I’ve had 5 grand mals since February (lobectomy), all during sleep while before that 2-3 a week and sleep didn’t matter.

So they aren’t confirming surgery again but they want to take a closer look at me even tho the last one was in august. Basically them wanting to be sure if I’m just healing this way, for instance gaps between them have grown and today marks the longest day in years for me at 3 months and 4 days (3 days into the new record tbh). Or the worst case they would see if more may need to be removed.

I think Vladdy is just getting started!

Bichette quietly had a phenomenal season too - if it wasn’t for Vlad and Semien he’d be marinating in the limelight.

Really hope the Jays can re-sign Semien and Ray and run it back again next season.

They’ve been absolutely solid. I think they’re going to surprise us with some offence later in the season. Can definitely see them creating counter attacking chances.

I like that there is a 3rd line with a defined role. Having a truly defensive "shutdown" line is nice. Chipping in some offence here and there and having a nice effect on the PK too.

I think Vladdy is just getting started!

I think Semien is gone but maybe they replace him with Seager or trade for Chapman to play 3rd?
