I see a guy willing to do what it takes to contribute to his team (I mentioned a couple of things in the post you replied to). Reinhart has started some plays that led to goals, where he didn’t get an assist, but the play never happens without him. Solid player, not at all flashy, but a very solid player. Your hatred of him seems overblown, perhaps it is more a result of the poopshow you watched surrounding him for so long (as your resentment over the autograph incident festered)?

this one needs to play out longer...post draft it looked definitively that rossi was the better pick...that has changed as quinn has really turned some heads

If Quinn turns out to be a legitimate 30+ goal scorer in the NHL, I don’t care if Rossi turns out to be a stud. We need a goal scorer more than a center right now. No one on this team can score right now. It’s been our nemesis last 10+ years. Eichel was forced to be a playmaker until he decided to take the game into his own hands most nights. You could tell he would get frustrated with setting up guys who could not finish

I’m not at all interested in seeing that. Change my mind.

goal scoring is pretty important...but again, this needs to play out longer...rossi is 10 games into his pro career, quinn 29 games

Around these parts he was a 8 years extension, terrible management to not extend long term. Lots of sammers.
He plays with no emotion or speed.

I told you what to expect, and somehow your happy with 3 goals in 18 games? Real solid... very solid.

Like WET1 said, why bother? You like him, doesnt matter how he plays. He is surrounded by so much talent.

He makes some nice sneaky plays during games.

You have a great forward group, and he does not fit in.
Quoting a player that says the team is fast, does not mean that Reinhardt's the one setting the pace.

He will not step up during barkov's absence.
Your coaching staff is playing him 16 minutes a game, because he's barely a top 9 forward on the Panthers.

Dude, I’m not here saying Samson is setting any kind of pace or anything like that. To you he’s a second overall pick that falls way short of that. To me he’s a useful player to add to help solidify an already strong team. You seem stuck on his point total, while I think he’ll get his points up, but there’s far more than points that tell if a player is good. He doesn’t have to be the savior here, and he’s not expected to be.
