It's the idea that you shouldn't use wine you don't want to drink in food because it won't taste good either way. Bad wine is just for getting buzzed or mixing in sangria with a bunch of fruit

One time I was doing Alton Brown's braised pork ribs that call for white wine as the braising liquid, but since I don't drink these days I used lemon green tea kombucha instead and it was actually really, really good. I've used kombucha in chili too, with tasty results.

Glad these points are in hand now because pain is coming. They've been pretty lucky with injuries so far. If they can keep this run going a little longer they can afford to slide a bit and still make the playoffs. A 9-1 run goes a long way at the end.
