Nice!!!

Wish I still had my records from my younger years. It would be a decent collection.

I got my older brother's collection. Most of it is hair metal, but the Zeppelin vinyl is sweet.

I think the director is Peter Jackson.

You’re right, Elrond. I get those waspy names mixed up. Giles Martin, son of George oversaw the music technical knobs and switches stuff

The 'McCartney 3,2,1' series on Disney+ is also worth a watch. Paul in discussion with Rick Rubin, sitting at a soundboard, isolating tracks, harmonies, etc. Pretty cool, and it made George Martin's MASSIVE contribution to the Beatles records clear as day.

Was never a hair metal or heavy metal guy, a few songs here or there, but having all of the Zeppelin albums in the vinyl collection is a MUST have.

(Think I'm still missing one or two, can't remember, been busy not paying attention to poop for all of the pandemic.)

It was fun seeing Rubin geeking out in obvious fanboy amazement with Paul.

Looking very much forward to watching the new documentary. For years, all we heard about was how poopty the band's state of mind was during the Get Back sessions -- apparently, this series shows that narrative was, at least in part, bullpoop.

Having said that, I would kill to see the Abbey Road sessions caught on film too. I'm sure watching them perform Maxwell's Silver Hammer for the billionth time and everyone but Paul freaking the (frank) out about it would be hilarious. It's pretty clear, at that stage, Paul was by far the driving force and didn't have John pushing back and/or collaborating like he did in the past.

Even through all of that, Abbey Road was still (frank)ing amazeballs.
