You think "the LE" happens to players that don't play for Van?

Haven't really seen those GM names come up.. why them? Verbeek seems the most interesting having worked under Stevie Y for so many years

Bring in Julien as a PK or defensive adviser.

Jeff Gorton as an AGM or President.

Hold some feet to the fire.

I posted Basil McRae history the other day. London Knights owner. Previous scout and worked under John Davidson and Kekko for years.

Verbeek was there for the building years of the Lightning.

McKinnon was in Nashville when they drafted some very good defensemen. In the Pens org when they were winning cups. Now with New Jersey who I think have drafted and added some very good parts last couple years.

Allvin is a Swede and Van likes Swedes. Swede helping out the Asst GM Sedin's

Jeff Gorton has a pretty damn bad drafting record during his tenure as Rangers GM.

I doubt Julien is taking another job that isn't Head coach.

Cool.

JB can be shifted over to head scout for the next 2 years.

Yeah. I know.
It's pie in the sky fantasy for fun.

But if an experienced coach was to take an assistant role, it would be with an understanding that if the team continues to tank, he'd be given the reigns.

Didn’t Claude Julien have a bit of a mild heart attack last year which forced him into retirement?

FA might be too cheap to sign some decent coaches though.

Especially if he is paying others not to coach.

A more experienced staff in all positions would be awesome though. Current coaches fired and have the experience to help the next team.

No he was fired by Mtl who went to the finals and are now worse than Van.

Yes but Canucks head coach is a stress free job.

Edit . I think it was Boudreau

Julien had heart troubles in 2020 playoffs where he had surgery but it wasn't a heart attack. Removed a blockage or something.

He was having chest pains, angina, which is a sign of blocked arteries. I think he’s good to go now.

He coached last season for Mtl. 18 games before being fired.

I really thought JB was going to hire him in the summer and let Green go. The Van media pressured JB into extending Green though. Which was a mistake that the media refuses to own up too.

The owner is not going to bring in an AGM that “could” take over if the GM is fired, that’s just not how things work.

So, you're saying Aqualini is not going to listen to fantasy tongue-in-cheek scenario's posted on a backwater hockey thread?

Thanks tips.

No, I’m saying people suggesting that Aquilini should hire Gorton to be an AGM are morons, because that’s not how things work.

It's a hockey chat room where people discuss different ideas.
Like some people suggest trades that are not going to happen, it's just for kicks.

Try not to take it too serious.
