I believe in Petey...He is elite, but anyone with eyes can see that something is off.. his passing (which I though was strong for the previous years) has sucked. He has passed it to the opposing team how many times this season? (not a excuse if its true) Seriously, hasn't he looked off this year so far?

Tanev and Hughes were a decent pairing. While Tanev's WAR may have been affected negatively by playing with Hughes, the overall pairing was a benefit to the team.

That's the point: provide the kid with a defensively responsible partner so he can provide the offensive production.

How about that salad bowl Rick Vaive is sporting in the Flying V. Another goal scorer the Canucks were impatient with who went on to score 400+ in his career.
