It adds sweetness to the pizza. Especially with the spinach and chicken being a bit short on flavour. Sometimes cut up cherry tomatoes.

Haven't experimented much with cheese on it.

There are lots of ingredients you can add for sweetness, try canned peaches, Prosciutto and pears is a great pizza, you have to offset the sweetness with salty.
