Finally... at last you've come off the fence with regards to Hughes. We've all been speculating because we couldn't tell your opinion.

Seriously though... He's still young and has lots of growing to do (on ice and off.)

It really comes down to what the team does with him. He needs better coaching and a steady partner. He will be elite. Whether it's solely offensive depends largely on the team from here.

I'd prefer if the forwards help out the defence in exiting the zone instead of just skating away anytime a Canucks defensemen gets the puck.

Todays game is all about skating & crisp clean passing. Puck support starts it all. Neutral zone traps make teams pay if not.

Canucks have 6 wins and in 5 of those 6 wins, Queen Hughes has played less than 23 minutes, in a majority of the teams losses he has played more than 23 minutes.

Less Queen Hughes and more evenly distributed minutes should help the team.
