Kasper brings up a good point.
I had covid end of June (and this was after I had my first shot) and my symptoms were very weak, almost non-existant. Which, was cool. But, when I started running and doing cardio type stuff, it was definitely a rough go. I regularly run 4-plus miles and I’m in a pretty competitive men’s soccer league with guys 10 years younger than me and I couldn’t run more than 2 miles at first without my head starting to hurt, coughing and out of breath easy. I don’t work out as often as professional athletes obviously, but it took me almost 2 months to get back to the kinda shape I like to be in.
It’ll be interesting to see how these guys handle it…on top of the injuries we already have to key players. Ugh, this is shaping up to be a crappy season. |

Yep it sure is. The timing with everything is insane. Hopefully they don’t have any of the long term effects of covid. I have friends that still have breathing issues a year after catching it. They were vaccinated as well. |

I believe it. The first two or three times I first ran, I was borderline shocked at how I felt. Couldn’t even finish 2 miles at first. |

I have Covid now (tested positive last Tuesday. And yes, I was fully vaccinated). Like you, my symptoms were/are pretty mild. Oddly enough I still can taste but lost my sense of smell. Anyway, I'm not too concerned with getting BACK into shape, since I wasn't in shape in the first place. Due to many knee and ankle injuries from my younger days, I can not jog (at least not without a lot of pain). I have, however been doing some jumping jacks, push-ups, crunches, etc because I wanted to try to lose some pounds (pre-Covid). After reading your post I'm going to assume that doing any form of low impact cardio with get me winded much quicker than before. Let's hope that this becomes the galvanizing moment that turns the team around and gets them back on the path to success. |

No news, just a pretty good analysis that is consistent with what many here have been saying. - JohnScammo
Pretty spot on with what we've been saying. So which one of you wrote that article? Which one of you is "Dan Rosen"? |

Yep. Not really the best outlook for our season right now which is unbelievable as we all know between the expectations we all had and the new arena. Pretty incredible timeline and the way it all unfolded. If you think we’re downtrodden right now imagine how Ledecky, Lameriello, and the players must feel. I can’t imagine that’s a fun locker room to be in right now. |

He obviously did his research on hockeybuzz. Just like trotz does with his lineups. |

I'd really like to see Golyshev get in there tonight. I don't see any reason at all that Andy Andreoff should be in the lineup over someone who can score when we're only outscoring the Coyotes at this point in the season |

Yeah I was expecting Golyshev to be one of the first call ups after trotz’s praise of the kid. Didn’t even know who Andreoff was until they called him up. Whichever poor bastard it is will probably be wishing they weren’t called up after the first period |

I mean at this point, try anything. I don't expect him to come in and light the world on fire but he can certainly put the puck in the net and he's familiar with Shesterkin from their KHL days so I don't think it'd be the worst idea to throw him in there. It's almost impossible to score less than they currently are so what's the downside? |

Oh I agree throw everything at it and hope for the best. I’m not sure what went into the Andreoff decision I assume it had something to do with whatever Thompson told trotz. With that said I now know the reason I never heard of Andreoff before his recent call up - Cptmjl
I think Andreoff plays with a little bit more of an edge and it seems like that's what Trotz wanted to put in there, but there's so much offensive skill missing from the lineup I don't think we can afford to be prioritizing grit over scoring right now. |

Yeah 100% we have zero firepower and having our fwds stuck in their own end is of course part of the problem but we need players that can push the play forward. Andreoff doesn’t appear to be that guy. I think what this team needs more then anything else which you bought up on the other thread is desperation. I’m not seeing that which I can’t wrap my head around. It’s like they folded up their tents and gave up already. Hopefully that changes tonight. If they go down, which they very well may, they better go down swinging. |

Offensive skill has been missing from this lineup all season long so far. Hence the reason only the Coyotes have scored less than the Isles. |

I have a feeling we’ll see a gutsy performance from Hickey tonight. The few times we’ve seen him we got a couple of decent games out of him before he fell apart. |

With regards to the guys with covid, have to think they are getting Regeneron, Pfizer or whatever drugs are currently approved to help minimize effects and increase recovery time. |

Could use another center though he hasn’t done much of anything with his opportunities. Hopefully one or two of these kids steps up. |

Not sure what's out there. I know I'm on Nyquil, Tylenol and Mucinex. |
