Exactly my point. I don’t want to jump to far to conclusions but that’s one of the reasons I read. With that said I would like to know exactly how the decision was now made to postpone games rather then reading Andrew Gross tweets whose explanation for covid protocol has been all over the map since the start of this.

It’s a joke the more I read why this decision was made. My only question is why wasn’t it made earlier?

Didn’t want to cancel the opening games of the new arena.

If that’s even part of the reason then Ledecky and Malkin can blow it out their arses. They potentially sacrificed much more by losing playoff revenue. It would be an incredibly stupid decision on their part if that turns out to be true.

I’m not sure but that’s what I would like to find out. I don’t think it is but if it proves to be true Ledecky is going to be in for an absolute PR nightmare with fans that’s without even factoring how irate the players would be that have been getting throttled since opening night.

I read that ten players/coaches threshold last week as well then a couple of writers contradicted it. I have no idea what’s true at this point?

I think everyone just assumed that since that's what the Senators had when their games were postponed. I don't think the league has ever come out publicly with their guidelines. If they even had any.

Team needs three days of negative tests to re-open facility.

Theoretically, that could be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, then practice Wednesday, host Sharks Thursday

Maybe it’s just coincidence they finally postpone games when they go on the road. Probably never find out either way.

100%. This blog we’re in now is about regrouping as we head home over a week ago! A lot has happened in the past seven days between COVID and injuries and no updates - not that I care.
