Salo has had a pretty solid game so far.

So Coleman got the boarding penalty at 7:07 and gets released at 9:07. Wahlstrom doesn’t get to play on the ensuing PP and gets back on the ice in the last minute of the period. Such BS really.

Yeah they are. They’re skating well and taking shots. Mayfield even has a good chance in close.

I have said it before but I like Panik’s game. Guy is hard on the puck.

Right, wouldn’t mind finding a spot for him on the 3rd line.

The Isles deserved a better fate tonight, given the adversity and effort. It's amazinghow opponents become friggin' Chris Kyle when firing at empty nets from a country mile away

Barry needs to clean up the special teams. Not only this game but the season so far they have been beaten game in game out on the special teams. Dobson stood out tonight for me.

Panik looked great and brings speed to a slow lineup, I also thought Salo was good out there too. Maybe the regulars need to know their spots aren't locked

Yep. Hopefully the positive that comes out of this is it creates a little competition. Salo looked like he belonged along with Panik. The “identity” line on the other hand

Not sure what they were identifying as last night but it wasn’t good.

Need a major trade. Team seriously lacks talent. Looking like a top 10 draft pick at this point. They have gone away from the smothering blue collar system that makes less talented teams successful. Showed glimpses of it last night.

This team under every coaching staff has gone thru a funk period. While there is no optimal time during the course of the season. Given what they have been faced with it can be a lot worse.

The struggles of Palmieri, Parise, Chara, Dobson, Varly. Add on COVID with Bailey, AB, Greene, Lee, Ross, Pelech.

The thing they need to focus on too is relax and get back into the system they have been so good at the last three years. Look at each home game one at a time. The Rags with their full team lost to the Flames 6-0. Isles with an mixed bag lost 4-2 with an empty netter.

What sweeter way to get things on track than to beat PJ Boy and the Maple Saps.

No need to panic yet.

In speaking of a major trade who are they trading for??? What are they trading away??? It is easy to state a major trade is needed but who does it involve and can they play in the system?

The only thing that would be ideal right now is a top 4 offensive defenseman. Since they are few and far between and no completely out of it. The Isles would have to grossly over pay.

Do not see it happening just yet. Even if the first playoff marker is Thanksgiving.

I would like to trade Bailey(with covid), Andy Andreoff(now that I know who he is), and Hutton(now that I know who he is), for Tarasenko and Parayko.
