If RR Qb's the 2nd PP unit and got his 40 points with consistent 2 pair play, Id take his warts and hopefully sign him to a deal at a sub 6 AAV but im still not comfortable with that. Finding cohesion with Sanheim is part of it because TS hasnt found his stride yet and I get thats partof it. But given the experience and level of responsibility that RR had in Buffalo (regardless of if he was fairley ready or not), I havent seen that level of play consistently here or in his career that im ok with them commiting to

I want him to succeed, but it would be terrible if he got a 5+ year deal and then failed to live up to it. That’s what scares me the most.

In my opinion he's played 5 good games out of 14 played. He doesn't elevate the team. I need more consistency. The issue is they don't really have a replacement for him but I'd rather have a hole in the lineup than to overpay on a bad contract.
