What did Marchand get the penalty for? Ristolainen got away with one. He hit Bergeron well after the play. More often that not, he'll get called on that. Hit during the play.

With all of this talent they can't possibly do a better job at this? This has really bothers me about AV and how he wants them to do that

Yes, you can't score from the boards, you have to attack the net, and the Flyers seem more than happy to just whip pucks along the boards and keep it to the outside. They need to pay the price if they want to win this game.

What does being a Flyers fan have to do with it? I didn't see Marchand spear anyone. He was called for unsportsmanlike conduct. Not spearing. The Flyers were the beneficiary of a bad call.

Yea, I'd much rather see a regroup and keep possession when possible. Lot of times though it's after extended time in the D zone and you have to dump it in to get a D change. The solution is play in the other teams end more.

If that situation happened and they gave a Flyer a penalty, you'd be female doging about it. There shouldn't have been any penalties called in that scrum. If I'm Boston's coach, I'd be happy as hell with that match up.

A remember a story Tocchet told about when he first got to Pittsburgh after being traded from the Flyers, he was playing with Lemieux and he dumped the puck into the zone. When he got back to the bench he got chewed out by Lemieux and was told "you are not in Philly anymore, here is Pittsburgh we keep possession!"
