there some value, TK Laughton Sandheim. There are some pieces
they may need to trade to start a rebuild though. Or maybe for someone like Horvat, or someone from a struggling team like vancouver - bradster gm loves laughton. They missed the boat on him when his value was likely an all time high. Around 10 points in his last 50 games or so. Key core player.

Fine with that but he's more offensive than defensive in my opinion. - MJL
Hope you’re right about the offense. Points wise he’s only had one good year. This year he can’t seem to hit the net. |

sandheim is starting to carry it into the zone pretty good the last few games, he needs to do that more often. IF he isnt doing that, he doesnt add much

That describes most of the team lately. I'm just looking at style of play. He's okay defensively but his strength is skating and jumping up on the play. Something every defenseman needs to do better. Except Braun. He's been lighting it up.

But that is not reality! The reality is Risto plays as much as Provorov does 5 on 5! Provorov gets more ice time because he points the 1st PP unit, where his XGA should be negligible. So its an apples to apples comparison and frankly, Risto is better than the proclaimed best Flyers defenseman, plain and simple! - jd250
Reality is that you were wrong to say the stat has nothing to do with time on ice. |

Just saw that Voracek only has 5 minutes of TOI tonight with the Jackets tonight. Wonder if he has joined the injury parade. Ex Flyers falling like flies. |

No ones gotten what they hoped…but ya it’s 14 games. I still think Ellis will be fine. Groin/core injuries are tricky. But he’s still far and away the best player in the trade….and it’s not close. I still think Myers is a big question mark….I’m glad they got rid of him. Patrick is just awful….disinterested and a complete waste of a second over all pick. |

You were all over Voracek. Wanted him gone. It wasn't just you. What did myself and others such as Tomahawk tell you guys?
- MJL
No one really cares what you or tomahawk said. If you were right or wrong about said trade.

Maybe the worst trade in history for all parties involved - ClaudeFather The Flyers essentially gave up nothing IMO to get a guy that could really help them. He looked good in those first 3 games before he was taken out by injury. You roll the dice and hope he comes back healthy. I wouldn't take either player back that the Flyers lost in that trade. Myers may someday be something, but I think Patrick is toast. Ellis was easily the best player in that trade. |

I would disagree that they gave up nothing. I wish we stood had Myers.

I would disagree that they gave up nothing. I wish we stood had Myers. - MJL I think Myers suffers from low hockey IQ and I'm not sure that can be fixed. I also don't like the fact that he is physically challenged. What I mean is despite the fact that he is a big guy it seems he's the one that gets dinged up every time he throws a big hit. Out of the two that they lost he has a chance to be something, but I wouldn't bet on it. |

I was being polite. I do think he’s played a lot better the last 6-7 games over all. I think part of my over all dislike is he’s a player I always thought could be a solid top pairing talent and looking back I was way way off. |

I don't agree that Myers suffers from low hockey IQ. The entire time he was developing, his hockey IQ was never questioned. Like most of the young players, he struggled in the caustic environment of the 20/21 season. I'm pulling for him to succeed.

ya most people thought he was almost an untouchable, shoulda traded him for nylander when we couldve. That ship has sailed.
Generally people just over value their own teams talent. Need to be realistic.
