Wait .. I never said the team is not good, what I said is the injuries to Ellis and Hayes have really paid a toll on this team and their forward depth is not good enough, especially a center. Hextall's 5 years of drafting tons of players have not made this better, in fact its responsible for the state the team is in. Fletcher had to sign Hayes to a stupid contract because Hextall missed on Patrick. Fletcher had to trade for Ellis and Risto because Hextall did not draft and develop enough defenseman to fill in the holes on the team, including bottom pairing roles. Fletcher had to sign Thompson and Brassard, and pick up Brown and MacEwen on waivers because Hextall failed to even draft forwards that could fill in the bottom 6! These are facts, these are not opinions. Yes Hextall drafted Hart, Provorov, Sanheim, Farabee and TK, all good to very good players. But in 5 drafts, is this enough? I say honestly ... NO!

You honestly have no idea what you post do you?

You made this comment. What were you implying with the team we currently have?

"and we all know it because of his blunders that have resulted in the team we currently have."

How can Hextall, who hasn't been the GM in 3 years and his drafting overcome injuries to a top pairing defenseman and a 2nd line center that were signed and traded for by the current GM?

I won't even go into the rest of the absurd contradictions you make in this post.

This is just another poorly thought out post we can add to the list. It's really hysterical.
